Obviously itd be best to have a night game. But that’s going to LA. So imo we’re lucky in anything but the first game of the day. Trust me I’ll be there sweating my arse off and beer straight out of me.

Is the 1st Base ump who ignored Kent Hrbek pulling Ron Gant off of the base in the crew as well?
Or what about the 2nd base ump who called Buster Posey safe in the 2010 NLDS?
While I don't want to act like a Saints fan but it would be good if the umps were on notice a bit.

according to baseball reference, the 1991 WS Game 2 ump assignments were:
HP - Harry Wendelstedt, 1B - Drew Coble, 2B - Terry Tata, 3B - Rick Reed, LF - Ed Montague, RF - Don Denkinger.

Wondering when starting pitchers have to be announced?
I'd imagine St Louis is gonna throw Jack Flaherty or Dakota Hudson for Game 1, right?
Braves throw Keuchel, Soroka or Fried?
Keuchel has the experience and veteran leadership so maybe you go with him in G1? He had a rough outing last though.

I don't think the team has to announce starting pitchers at all if they don't want to.

There seems to be a lot of talk about the following rotation for the Braves:
Game 1 - Keuchel (experience to handle the buildup/nerves of Game 1)
Game 2 - Folty (pitching really well right now, has experience from last year)
Game 3 - Soroka (obviously has been the Braves best pitcher but this would take advantage of his significant home/road splits where for some reason he consistently pitches better on the road)

Flaherty will be on 3 days rest, but his outing Sunday was rather, easy. Only 70 pitches.
My guess is:
Hudson
Flaherty
Mikolas
Waino
Even tho Id rather see waino in the 3rd spot.
It's stupid impressive how talented and young Soroka is
EDIT: Mikolas given game 1 start, this is stupid. he has a road era of 5.40
