I hate to say it but I’m pulling for the Nats tonight. I think they have a better chance to beat the dodgers than do the brewers. And if the nats beat the dodgers... I’m confident we can advance especially with home field.

Nothing wrong with that line of thinking. Would love to have home field for the NLCS if we get past the Cardinals.
I'm going to the game on Friday and just realized this will be the first time this year I've even seen Jack Flaherty pitch who looks to start Game 2 for the Cards. The media is talking him up like an unstoppable force that will single-highhandedly win Game 2 and then win the series for the Cards in Game 5 if they can get there.
How good is this guy? I know he was just okay the first half of the season but has been incredible the last couple of months. For those that know his stuff, how does the Braves lineup match up against him?
ETA: Just looked and it looks like we faced him twice so maybe I saw him pitch and just don't remember:
May 14 - He got the win - 6 innings, 3 hits, 3 ER, 5 BB, 6 SO
May 26 - No decision (Braves won game) - 6 innings, 3 hits, 0 ER, 0 BB, 7 SO
So he has pitched well against the Braves. Looks like the was dominating us in the May 26 game.

Good news, I played Thursday nights game on the show And i am happy to report that we will win 14-4. Donaldson hits three HR's, Freddie hits 2 and Acuna hits 1. This is going to be easy.

The Brewers can mash. I don’t want to play them.

I'll be honest...I'm kinda the same way. So much random shite can happen in a baseball game or series. You might go in hoping to play a certain team and they end up beating your arse.
We get through this first series to get that monkey off our backs, and I'll like our chances against anyone.

Was just looking at parking for the game on the secondary market. Do people really buy these $100 parking passes for the East lots which aren't even that close? Seems ridiculous to me. I usually Uber but taking my 8 year old so thinking about driving and parking for the game Friday.

Parking goes on sale at noon today. get on braves.com and get your parking immediately.
I'd recommend B11. the walk to the stadium is incredibly short and it's not hard to get out after the game.

Is this deck only available for pre-purchase for A-List members?

you have to pre-purchase it but it is open to anyone.
if you go to braves.com/parking and click on "buy now" for either games 1 or 2, it says that they are "sold out" but I don't think that is correct because they sent an email out yesterday saying that the passes would be available for purchase starting at noon.

There was no good lots for even A list pre sale parking. It was at 10. Going to try again at noon in hopes the May have some for public. Got out of a meeting 5 min late so maybe they were just sold out in 5 min.

I don't see the Nats beating the Dodgers after they used both of their stud pitchers last night.
Strausburg only threw 34 pitches, so he might be effective off of short rest but Scherzer was laboring the whole time.

The only thing that appeared to be for sale right at noon was E32. Strange.
ETA: And those are already gone by the way.
I suspect brokers are buying a lot of this up and you will see them for resale very soon for triple the price. And frick that by the way. I'm not paying more for parking than my ticket to the game.
ETA 2: I went back on and some more lots were available. Best I was able to get was Lot 61 which is one of the lots they only open for select games. Says its a 10 minute walk.

Yeah I’ll uber from Target. Also, I was only allowed to buy one pass so I doubt brokers got a shite ton of em.

Going to be interesting. They won't be able to get Scherzer two starts in the NLDS. Maybe not Strasburg either. Could be looking at:
Thursday - Corbin
Friday - Sanchez
Sunday - Strasburg
Monday - Scherzer
Wednesday - Corbin

i had the same problem. after about 10 minutes they finally showed more options and I was able to get lot 61 as well.
i would definitely uber to get there, but i abhor the process to get an uber on the way out. it would be much easier if you could simply lineup and get in the next available car rather than having a specific car trying to find you. I've done it twice and never again. complete shite show.

I never have issues. Plus I’ll likely hang out in the battery for a while after.
