I agree with that. Nobody wants to refs involved that much in an outcome of a game

Truthfully, this game is coming down to the exact same as Week 14.
The refs playing WAY too much of a role. Yet, the away team ultimately losing the game for themselves.

Welp frick this.

Congrats Saints. Guess we'll settle for 3 outta 4 instead of back-to-back sweeps

Absolutely. We can disagree on certain calls and Week 14/Week 16. The thing is that it's been pretty horribly officiated both, lopsided to the home team each time.

Like there, if that Julio play isn't PI, that is tacky.

That's the play call from Sarkisian on an 4th and 1 and a must convert TD?

The frick it is. These penalties situationally are nowhere close to those in the previous game.

At least in the game in Atlanta, the Falcons got called for a few penalties.

The Saints have literally gotten called for one. All game. And it was a meaningless 1st down play.

A lot of the Falcons penalties have been just shooting themselves in the foot and just stupid unnecessary things.

And I'd agree that the Saints should've been called for about 3 more. The Falcons also only got called for four in the game in Atlanta.

Regardless, refs controlling the game is just horseshite and ruins what could otherwise be a great rivalry game.

We would've lost anyway, but it would've been 13 or 16 to 10 instead of the 27-3 or whatever it's about to be.

They're not to blame here, but I guess it gives y'all something to laugh at.

We'll settle for the CFP appearance. At least 1/3 of this board will. Sorry AU and Gt fans

I don't know man. A call one way or the other makes a huge difference in the rhythm of the offense. Y'all very well could be up right now had some of those calls been made (and if you could punch it in inside our 5).

Nor were they to blame in Week 14 (you can go back and look through my posts in this thread, I've never said that).

I just hate the idea of refs influencing a game. Both for and against the Saints.

NFL referees are just trash, I don't care about the team that's playing, they're awful.

Defense did its job today.

You can whine about the refs all you want, but if we don't frick up on the 1 yard line twice, this game is tied.

Falcons weren't going to win today, refs or no refs.

The Seahawks way is annoying if you don't have a legitimately good team. Poor discipline and the like.

You gotta be happy that Sark is not at Alabama but pissed that he's here.

My hope is that the defense continues to be solid and improves slightly, and with a second year under Sark we get some rythym back in our offense. Remember, 2015 wasn't exactly a smooth season and there similar problems.

This season's fate was decided when Shanahan took the 49ers job.

10 point game.

If we don't suck chode on the 1 yard line twice, we win.

This, folks, is why I drink alcoholic beverages.
