They've got people breaking down how we "cheated" in the game last night. They're the most paranoid and illogical fanbase in football.
Every loss ever is only because Goodell hates them. Otherwise, they'd never lose. Best team evar.
It's as if they completely ignored the several blatant blown calls that went against the falcons on big plays last night.
They nit picked every defensive holding call last week, but only focus on one play last night. At least be consistent in your pussy-aching, Taint fans.

The irony is they scream "We're gonna beat your arse this week" at the same time screaming "The NFL has a conspiracy against us!".
Those 2 things can't be true. If the NFL is "out to get them", then I expect ATL to either win or lose a close one. Them beating our arse completely negates their whole victim card mentality but most are too blind to see that point.
All I know is if they do win, I sure won't cry about it like they have for 2-3 weeks now.

Eh, never lived in one, so I wouldn't know.
Considering I'm a Marine using his GI Bill, an eating crayons joke is probably much more fitting.

I'm sorry - we, the Falcons, received the benefit of cheating last night? LOL the fvck? Julio was tackled in the end zone on an underthrown ball and our kick returner was literally tackled 4 yards out of bounds.
(a) That is just blatantly laughable
(b) When did Atlanta become a favored son of the establishment NFL? I never knew we had so much pull.
(c) They are basically real-life caricatures of the sarcastic conversions Big Cat and PFT have on Pardon My Take re: the NFL and Jerry Jones.

There's no conspiracy going on, NFL refs truly suck arse this much and folks need to realize it.
Oh, I completely agree. It's been a problem for years now, and the NFL really needs to address it (on top of making rule changes/clarifications).

I really think the ref issue is easily fixed. You have the refs mic'd with a central group of refs who advise them on the correct calls with real time slow-mo ability. Yes it may pause the game 10-15secs while they wait on critical info but it is worth getting the calls right.

It's another place where I think the NCAA gets it right with literally every play having the ability to be reviewed. Yeah, it's great having the coaches needing to challenge correctly and smartly, but I'd prefer the calls to be correct.

I've had some fun with Saints fans the last couple of weeks. I have a feeling it'll come back to bite me this weekend.
That said, in all seriousness, every play being reviewable is a nice thing to have, but it seems as if the majority of the bitching this year has been in regards to the perceived unfairness in how the refs call the penalties. I can't think of one controversial play in the first Saints/Falcons game that would have been reviewed, b/c the issues were mainly with the refs calling defensive holding on the Saints while letting the Falcons play a little looser on defense.
Same thing with the Falcons/Bucs game. People think the fix was in because the ref fell down and because the Falcons player "delayed the game", but those are not reviewable (I don't think). And neither were any of the bogus calls or non-calls that went against the Falcons last night.
I feel like, in general, the refs do a pretty good job with the reviewable plays like spots, out of bounds, catch/no catch, etc.

Either way, let's just hope for a game that isn't influenced by refs and the players on the field can decide it.

I absolutely agree with this statement. I don't think any unbiased fan would have an issue with a single call made on the Saints (we even got away with a few). It was more of the calls that weren't made on the Falcons. Such is the human error.
I've never thought a "fix" was in. The whole former player reffing the game is a bit odd, but I would never think of that as a jab against the Saints in favor of Atlanta.

Absolutely, for the most part. There definitely have been some head-scratchers this year though.

Thanks for being rational. Here's to a good game this weekend. I think the Saints may take this one though but c'est la vie.

Yea well, I'd love to see ATL blow someone out this year. Would be amazing if we started now... but I doubt it.
I think when I die, I'm gonna invite Matt Ryan and Julio to let me down one last time... into my grave.

If I were a betting man, I'd take the points with the Saints, but I'm not ballsy enough to put money on it. These games always seem to be close and have a few bounces of the ball change the outcome. After Coleman's fumbles last Sunday, I am a bit afraid of where those bounces will come.

I doubt there's a blowout either way, but likewise. I just hope the refs call a good and even game. It's always shitty when they play into the game a lot more than they should (it's Pete Morelli's crew, I don't expect that to be a well officiated game).

Might want to get your referee/league office excuses lined up just in case.

Doubtful but you could very well win. Although, the refs and the NFL have it out for you, right? So why are you so confident?

Who's sad. Dan Quinn owns your asses lately.

Yea, I'm in their heads. Hope ATL is too and the Saints play too emotional. I smell penalties. Lots of them.
ETA: The more I thought about my last statement above, I kinda giggled. I'm remembering Sean Payton making the choke symbol and yelling out "Choke" like 3-4 times directly to Devonta.
They really are some sad sacks. When your head coach has stooped to talking shite to a player about another team beating us in the Super Bowl, it kinda reeks of sadness and being petty.

It's a win-win for them. If they win, they'll come here and talk shite.
If they lose, they didn't actually lose, the refs and the NFL just stole it from them.
It's similar behavior my 2 kids show. One is 4 and the other is 2.

You gave up on the Dawgs after the first drive in the SECCG, shite bag. Not surprised you've given up on the Falcons before the playoffs even start. You're a pussy.
