Falcons have the same disease the Bulldogs had 20 years ago.
Play great against great teams. Win some, lose some.
Play down to shite and average teams. Lose too many.
I expect a close game.

Having to use silent counts at home is so embarrassing

Bijan was worth every second of that pick period. Would have liked to got a wr to match with London and Dart.

That was the best half of football the Falcons have played in a long time. Hope they can keep it up. Getting a stop on this first Bills drive coming out of halftime would go a long way towards winning this game.

I’ve been critical of ATL taking Bijan so high over other team needs but damn he’s an exciting player.

Yeah not many RBs ever are actually worth picking that high but he looks like one of them. He makes shite happen with the ball in his hands and they're starting to use him in the passing game.
This was a great win. The Falcons played incredibly well tonight.

This was the best falcons game since the Matt Ryan era. Totally a statement game. It took us a little while but I think we might be back bois

“Other team needs” = Jalen Carter, yeah we know big dog and you aren’t alone.
Just got back from the Benz. Beautiful defensive performance and our drafted stars all made plays. Just a great evening.
Go look at Josh Allen’s stats. Almost as impressive a look for our defense as Bijan was for our offense.

This neighbor is the biggest Falcons hater I have ever seen, my gosh.
I was at the game. Yes, a lot of Bill fans - it was Bills Mafia’s once-a-year, “designated home away from home” game. They had 15k people for a festival in Grant Park Sunday to tailgate and watch the games. Fans were pretty cool and they picked Atlanta because of “the bad arse stadium and setup downtown” and all of them being able to stay at the new Insignia.
But it was still 60/40 Falcons. Not great, but, fanbases for good teams travel like that in the NFL. I remember during the Matt Ryan hay days Carolina would be a Falcons home game.
Crowd for us tonight was lively. Fun time.
Continue to bitch from the couch, the rest of us will enjoy Sunday’s this fall.

This defense has been on fire lately. They are just harrassing qbs and getting to them often. Been very impressed with the defense.

All the falcons had to do after having one of the worst pass rushes for like a decade now was spend one offseason drafting UGAs best pass rusher that year and trading back up to take a higher value DE pure pass rusher who dropped for character concerns.
Who could’ve ever predicted this?

I never expected to see the Falcons lead the league in total defense through 6 weeks. A truly amazing stat.

I see what you’re doing, and it isn’t totally incorrect as the team often ignored obvious SEC caliber defensive talent, but Jalen Walker and James Pearce aren’t in the top-6 of best/most impactful people on this defense (yet).
Jeff Ulbrich is the MAN.

Cook was going for 5 yards a pop on the ground (17 carries, 87 yards). I was surprised they went away from it after it worked so well early in the second half.
This looks like it's going to be a really good defense with a lot of positive attributes (pass rush, overall team speed, secondary play), but if they're vulnerable somewhere, it'll be when someone commits to running between the tackles for four quarters.

You and me both.
The interesting thing I heard was that the offensive coordinator was in the booth for the Carolina game, and they made the decision to have him on the field the past two.

Bijan over Jalen Carter aside, I’d like to introduce everyone to the defensive tackle with the NFL’s highest pressure rate through week 6:
Ruke Orohroro (~20%)
It’s a long season, but if it continues to trend up and to the right, Terry Fontenot better be getting some apologizes.

Walkers counting stats werent eye popping against Buffalo but if you watch film breakdowns of him he was absolutely destroying them play after play after play after play all over the field which allowed his teammates to accumulate counting stats.
Idk if he is a top 6 defender on the defense yet or not as you argued above he isnt, but he certainly was in this game. An argument could be made he was the single most important.
Either way I just love that the team has a great defense

Jalon Walker has been a great edge run defender to this point. I still think his best overall attribute is his side to side speed but he didn't really play on the edge on run downs at Georgia so we haven't seen this from him before.
