It would be a major surprise. Blank will give Morris time and coach seems to like TF.

Question is, if the Falcons lose Monday to the damn Raiders and finish at 1-3 or 0-4, does everyone get blown out?

I don't think Fontenot or Morris are in any danger of losing their jobs. In any other organization, they probably would be.

I don't know. I think the former's seat is getting pretty warm, especially after that piece from Wickensham came out yesterday not casting Fontenot in the best of terms

IMO, Fontenot would have to be caught with a dead girl or a live boy for Blank to consider firing him.

Now that it's coming out how arrogant Fontenot was towards BB and his overall drafting (or lack thereof) philosophy, I don't think he is safe at all. Especially when you consider how concerned the Falcons are about optics

If they lose Monday to Ridder and the Raiders, all Hell might break loose up there and I'm here for it.

Optics is exactly why Fontenot and Morris are in no danger of losing their jobs. As fans, we look at optics in terms of wins and losses. Blank does not.

Buccaneers taking the Chargers out behind the woodshed today, by the way.

We're going to agree to disagree on Fontenot

ETA: If they make the playoffs, he stays. If not, I think he's gone.

Looks like the Steelers will make the playoffs with Wilson and Fields, while 180 million dollar Cousins gets benched and the Falcons miss the playoffs. I called it. The people making decisions for this team are a complete shite show. Everyone that called me out and said they would bookmark my posts. You can break those bookmarks out now.

Until Blank sells the team, it'll continue to be a clusterfrick.

Sunday night v Quinn and the Redskins is the biggest game for ATL in many years. Off the top of my head, maybe biggest since the epic SB fail.

Probably the Eagles playoff game the next year. I think that team was good enough to go win the NFCCG in Minnesota if they didn't piss down their leg in Philadelphia.

I think I blocked that season out in my mind I literally don't remember it.

That was 2017!

Biggest game for the franchise since 2017. Damn. They've played a lot of irrelevant football.

Think we're going to look back and rue that Chargers loss.

Well TB did their absolute best to make this a tight race now.
2 games left for ATL and TB.

TB:
Panthers at TB - TB Win
TB at Saints - it may come down to this game. We might NEED the Saints to win and get us in the playoffs.

ATL:
Falcons at Wash (this is probably an L, especially in the cold)
Panthers at Falcons - W?

Falcons have to win tonight to make the playoffs. Will they do it?

Epic collapse from the point this thread was created. Some of it on Kirk. A good bit on the D and Raheem. His timeout/cl9ck management is garbage.
