I figured we could consolidate this all into one place (although let's be real, this board doesn't get a lot of traffic anyways). Cuts, free agency, draft talk, whatever needs to be discussed.

Cuts:
Robert Alford
Matt Bryant
Brooks Reed

RB, TE, K, DB are actually solid. Guys coming back from injury will help at RB and DB, Hooper had a very good season, and Italian Ice will be the kicker. We need to load up on the lines of scrimmage in the offseason. This team should be a good bounceback candidate.

Would like to see us go DL, OL, best lineman available with the first three picks

K is not a need. Tavecchio will be the starter next year after his three impressive games this year.

I could definitely see us going RB in the first 3-4 rounds. Freeman is good but with Coleman gone, we will need someone else in case of injury and Ito might not be that guy.

Why would we go after a TE? We have a young pro bowler.

DB-Where exactly do we need one? Tru and Oliver are the starters and Poole and Kazee are solid options behind. Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen are the starters at safety.

DT, OT/OG, DE could all be first round needs depending on who is signed in free agency.

I would think its safe to say that two or more guys will be cut. Beasley should be gone, and probably at least one of Fusco or Shraeder will be cut as well.

Eye test told me that Saints and Chiefs were the best 2 teams this past season.

For my first post in the off season thread I would like to say how happy I am that the Taints fricked up their most recent opportunity.

Here's to hoping the falcons regain the South!

The Falcons have got to draft offensive and defensive line help in the upcoming NFL Draft. If the Falcons don't have a winning season in 2019 I believe head coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff will be canned.

I agree, and I think this will definitely be a trenches heavy draft

WHY IS VIC BEASLEY STILL ON THE ROSTER??

IF THERE IS VALUE, TRADE HIM IF NOT LET HIM GO, THEY BETTER NOT PAY HIS arse. IF HE STAYS HE SHOULD TAKE A PAY CUT.

COULD'VE HAD GURLEY....

Beasley was 1000% the right pick. He just never developed a secondary move besides his speed rush. But in 2015 (as is the case now), pass rush was a much bigger need for the Falcons than RB. I personally would never draft a RB before the third round and would only give a second contract to very few of them.

If Gurley was on the roster instead of Beasley in 2016, that team doesn't win the NFC.

Beasley will not play this season under his current contract. He'll either be on the team on a much smaller deal or he'll be off the roster.

Vic Beasley in my opinion has been a bust and the Falcons need to draft some help on the defensive line. If I were the Falcons I would draft DT Christian Wilkins or DT-DE Montez Sweat with their 14th pick in the 1st round of the NFL Draft.

He's definitely been a bust but the Falcons would not be in a better place right now had they taken Gurley as opposed to Beasley like the other guy thinks.

Depends on how everything shakes out. This DL class is so loaded that I might consider trying to trade down into the early 20s or so and still coming away with a quality player on the defensive line.

That said, if Ed Oliver is there at 14, I'd sprint to the podium to get him.

Brian Poole has been released.

I did not realize Schaub's contract was up after last season, so he is a free agent. Hopefully he stays that way.

I'd guess that Schaub will retire.

CB1:Tru
CB2:Oliver
CB3:Kazee

Would definitely need another CB to keep Kazee's versatility . We will probably sign a vet since Oliver is inexperienced.

I would guess that CB depth will be addressed in the mid rounds of the draft and the cap space will be used on a major OL investment.

CBS Sport online predicted the Falcons would draft DT Dexter Lawrence with the 14th pick of the 1st round
