Lawrence is overrated, would rather have Wilkins or Oliver who can rush the passer. Purely run stuffing DT's value will start dropping in today's pass happy game, it's the main reason Derrick Brown returned to school.

It would be nice if some way DE Josh Allen dropped to #14

I saw Vaughn McClure said we want to bring back Poole, but at a lower price than his RFA tender. Hope that works out

I think Allen has major bust potential. He was completely erased in the Georgia game.

A backup swing tackle for three years? I mean, I guess for depth purposes, but the FO needs to bring in some mean, steal your lunch money types to this offensive line.

Not a good move in my opinion because the Falcons need offensive line depth

Falcons keeping Beasley

quote:

Beasley, who was Quinn's first draft pick as the Falcons' coach, has one year left on his contract after the Falcons exercised his fifth-year option. Quinn is well aware that Beasley's '19 salary of $12.81 million becomes fully guaranteed on March 13, the first day of the new league year. He said he sees the team committing to that salary for Beasley, which also would equate to Beasley's cap number for '19

You have got to be fricking kidding me....

Not surprised. Guess Quinn is all in on him at this point.

Need Ito to step up if we're gonna keep a 2 back rotation.

I think we'll probably draft a RB in the later rounds of the draft

fricking A.

I have never been a fan of Dimitroff but for some reason Uncle Arthur loves him.

However keeping Beasley is just as much on DQ as anyone. He needs to stop with his Butch Jones slogans and get this defense to show some improvement. This will be his 5th year and our defense is just as bad now as it was in 2012.

I think we will be just fine offensively with Dirk and Mulaney.

The 2017 defense was actually very good. 2018 was a case of injuries and losing Poe and Clayborn. 2019 is a make or break year for Quinn and possibly Dimitroff too. They have to absolutely nail the draft if they're gonna keep scrubs like Beasley on the roster for $12M.
