Wow. Can’t believe we got out of that jam

Yep, Biddle's bases loaded trouble went away with some nice strikeouts. S Freeman would've just kept walking them.

They're sending out our new closer in the bottom of the 11th.

Braves won 5 to 3, nice job by Minter and Acuña of course.

This team confuses the shite out of me. Lose series's to the Reds and then sweep St Louis and take the 1st of 3 against NYY at NY. They're a bipolar bunch but I still love 'em.

Good thing there won't be any sub .500 teams in the post season.

We caught Baltimore and Cincy when they were hot apparently. Completely shocked we’ve won 4 straight to start the road trip but I’m happy with it. Seems like this squad gets up for the big games.

Cincinnati was and still is really hot

Last night was a prime example of our offensive depth.
Freddie 0-5
Ozzie 0-4
Ender 1-5
Dansby 0-3
But Markakis, Suzuki, Acuna, and Camargo all stepped up and provided 2 hits each which lifted us up despite the top of the order having an off night. I really hope we go a get another reliever. After the Yanks, we go to Milwaukee which could be a glimpse of the NL Division championship.

Braves could seek bullpen help July 2:
The Braves need to shore up their bullpen heading into the Deadline, according to MLB Network insider Joel Sherman. As of Monday, Atlanta relievers ranked 12th in the NL with a combined 4.28 ERA, and closer Arodys Vizcaino was on the DL with right shoulder inflammation.
The Braves -- a club full of young talent that is positioned to be a contender for years -- would likely prefer to acquire relief help with multiple years of team control remaining rather than a free-agent-to-be that could walk at season's end.
Sherman points to Orioles right-hander Mychal Givens and Padres relievers Brad Hand, Kirby Yates and Craig Stammen as possible trade targets for Atlanta. The Braves could tap into a stacked farm system, which was ranked No. 2 overall in baseball entering the season, per MLB Pipeline, to acquire a veteran reliever.

Yeah I would prefer to not see Freeman out there anymore.

Jim Duquette proposed these two trades on MLB.com:
1. Braves trade Allard and Toussaint for Moustakas.
2. Braves trade Fried for Zack Britton.
We now know why he is a former GM and not a current one.

Fried needs to be taking Julio's spot. Trade Julio straight up for a reliever. Leave the farm untouched.

Toronto released al alburquerque...his stats on aaa this year were 3.77 ERA with 8.5 K/9, 2.5 BB/9, 0.94 HR/9 and a 50.6 percent ground-ball rate through 28 2/3 innings...i mean can't be worse than what is already in the bullpen

The Braves made a dumb (imo) move today when Vizcaino came off DL and dropped down Reed who never got to take the field. I wanted to reply to the poor twitter messenger guy it should have been s freeman instead, but a lot of others had beaten me to it.
