It’s so idiotic that a guy batting that well against you was not walked.

Our team might not be able to score, bummer ... but that was a nice defensive catch by Ronald, wow.

We're overmatched. I think we're missing Dansby from a motivational leader perspective. I also think the dodgers are good, and have paid a shite ton of money for their roster.

Any post season experience is good experience for this young team.

Damn the Braves got shutout again. I hope they can get a W when they come back to ATL Sunday night... or at least score I guess.

Bryce Harper is the answer.

Bryce Harper doesn't fit into the scope of running the Braves like a "small market" team. Personally, I was mad they didn't bring in at least one playoff caliber starting pitcher. So next year when the Nationals and Phillies play up to their potential, that "year away" mumbo jumbo will rear its ugly head again. Translation for year away: "management won't allow us to spend money". Props to this team for taking advantage of the condition of the eastern division.

The “year too soon” excuse is so annoying man. Baseball postseason is a crapshoot. That’s why it’s so much more exciting than the NBA, for instance.
We’ll have a hole to fill in right. Albies and Inciarte are still wild cards. Our catching situation is ok. Our SP has a long way to go and our bullpen is terrible. There are no givens going into next year imo. Phillies will be back and if the Mets can find an offense, they’ll be unstoppable. Got to take advantage of the situations you have in front of you.

I see that the playoffs have brought out the never-before-seen dumbasses

The amount of “we’re just glad to be in the NLDS” I’ve been hearing from people is nauseating.

Braves still haven't announced their pitcher for tomorrow to go against Buehler ( LINK ) ... must be hard to decide between Gausman and Julio, or maybe they're hoping somebody that already pitched can get ready ?

I thought I saw something about Gausman being named the starter but maybe that was just a rumor.

They named the starter tomorrow now, it's Newk even though he relieved Folty in the first game. Good luck to him he's going to need it against that Ferris.

That makes no sense. Gausman has pitched much better than newk and it's an elimination game wtf Snitker.

It actually makes a lot of sense. It may not work out, but the strategy is fine. My issue is that I would have started him in LA instead of Atlanta. He clearly has issues with the heat and pitches better in cooler temps

I agree. This year's Falcons team is why you shouldn't put a lot of stock in "they are built to win for years to come". When you are relatively healthy and have an opportunity, you need to take advantage.

Who all is going tonight? I'm excited to be attending a playoff game again. I moved away after Bobby retired and finally made it back a couple of years ago. My last playoff game was the elimination against SF in Bobby's finale.
