I don't think anyone really expected a series win, but I hoped for a win at least. Hopefully we can avoid a sweep.

Even if it happens, at least they won their division and aren't sitting home like Philly fans crying about a choke job.

the Braves have this much trouble with this guy, they're in deep doo-doo.

He had an ERA under two in about a half of a season worth of starts this year...

I’m gonna be optimistic that the bats wake up tonight. Everyone is just assuming Kershaw gets the W. Let’s rough him up!

Bats got to get alive. The 2nd home run and additional runs didn’t even do us in, the 1st HR did cause we had no offense!!!

Screw it. I am still having a good time watching the Braves back in the postseason.

The free agent speculation will be fun as well. Just a few pieces away from something special.

The “we had such a great season” crowd is already coming out. Like stfu. What is with this mentality in Atlanta sports...

In this case it's realistic though. If you thought this was a championship caliber roster you were pretty delusional. Even the front office showed that they don't think this is the year. It's a nice first step and a year ahead of where most people thought they would be. Why can't people be happy about that?

B/c it’s a weak, loser-driven mentality. Play to win. The folks in the media down here are soft AF. You don’t know how many chances like this you will get. Once you’re in the playoffs, anything can happen.

Do you just speak in all platitudes?

I think it's lame to have the happy to be here attitude most of the time but in this case where we are clearly outclassed it's ok.

Lol platitudes is what we get in this city most of the time. There is no desire from anyone in the media to demand more.

And why are we outclassed? We have the same record as the dodgers. People are acting like we are UL Monroe and that dodgers are Bama. Play better. Make better managerial decisions. I don’t understand why the fans here think that we were eliminated before it even started.

Here's what the Braves think about being down by 1:

A mouthful considering he may be the weakest of their starters we will face, although that's relative.

Anything can happen, but reality is reality. You say we had the same record as the dodgers, but the dodgers played better competition. Our record against playoff teams in the regular season was very very bad. We took advantage of the nationals and the phillys having terrible years, and that's why this team has a lot of positives moving forward. However, we need playoff caliber pitching to really make some noise.

Sanchez gave up a homer to the overpaid dodgers in the 1st, here we go again... 2-0.

The dodgers are a lot more talented than a 91 win team, they are in full playoff mode. We cannot make stupid mistakes.
