you folks are lucky. if the phillies had won last night, i would have been obligated to post a #37 Chris Reitsma photo. You dodged a bullet.

and then there's this epic 1st Round bust...

Luckily, the only real standouts in the draft the year we took him with the #4 overall pick were Andy Van Slyke and Tim Wallach. It looks like pickings were pretty slim that year.

Good job for pretty much singlehandedly ending the season.

Of all the things that could possibly end the Braves year ....a message board post has to be it.

I forget how long of a career Millwood had. Had some great seasons in both the NL and AL.

28 has been a real loser number for the Braves throughout history

So to celebrate the Phillies loss tonight:

well, at least the Phillies lost again. After that disastrous series with the Sox, we only lost 1 game in the standings and are still 3 up with 23 games left to play.

Funny thing about Lemke is that he is generally regarded as a fairly popular or at least well known Brave from the 90s but damn did he have mediocre at best numbers. He had 3 great playoff series, and that is essentially it.

I know Lemke had great moments, but I will only remember him for weakly popping out to third to end the 1996 series.
