That was Jackson tossing a 54 era today and Ramirez 135. Even Freeman couldn't throw strikes when they put him out there. He has an infinite era for the day since he didn't get any outs. Too bad it's not affecting the cubs pitching anymore. Braves haven't scored since early on. Now they need a grand slam to tie the game in the 9th.

If there was ever a single regular season game worth firing a manager and re-working the entire bullpen over, this would be it.

Nice day for the batters, and Newcomb pitched pretty well... but the bullpen lost the game 14 to 10.
