Line drive in the score book!

Loved Freddie's old school hook slide.

would have been a typical Braves thing to do. glad they got out of there with 1! .500 so far on this really tough roadtrip.

Friday appears to have the best weather of the 3 days. I'm curious why MLB doesn't try and anticipate a postponement by doing double headers ahead of time. Try and play 2 tomorrow and then squeeze 1 in between Saturday and Sunday. Especially when you are talking about non-divisional games where it is really hard to make them up later in the year.

Is he really hurt or is that a precursor to him getting let go at some point?

You can't just keep these guys around forever. if they are blocking legit prospects from being able to move up the system, and if you can't find a willing trade partner, then you gotta cut ties. I think you'll see the same with Wisler before too long.

Heyward has the most expensive non-pitching arm in the game

$28 mil for a great defender with an excellent arm who can't hit for power.

It's a shoulder injury and he's seeing Dr. Andrews, a combination you really don't like to see. He dropped a lot of weight this offseason and I was looking forward to see if that would lead to some improvement, hope it's not too bad.

Braves got the lead cause Darvish balked and wild pitched Albies home.

I was reviewing Tucker's career stats just now. Dude basically hit 25-30 homeruns every year in the minors with close to 100 RBIs and a .280-290 battin average each season.

Why exactly did Houston dump him again? I know he didn't put up huge numbers in Houston, but he only got about a year's worth of appearances over the course of 3 seasons there. I guess they are so loaded with talent that it didn't really matter and he was an extra body.
