I stream The Fan 680 some but can only listen to Kincade kissing Buck's arse for so long. Any others that are good?

Chunk and Chernoff are the only ones I listen to.

I'm a Tech fan, but I can also appreciate catering to an audience, so the nonstop UGA talk doesn't bother me. What does bother me is listening to Buck all summer talk about the same shite over and over again. Last year he talked about the UGA offensive line EVERY SINGLE DAY. The year before he talked about their lack of a good X wide receiver EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I've gotten to the point where I listen to 92.9 the game during football season for Falcons talk and 680 during baseball season for Braves talk, but I'll turn it off when they start regurgitating the same shite over and over.
I also started listening to XM Radio's ACC Sports Channel (371). The Wes Durham and Mark Packer 3 hour morning show is easily the best radio program for sports I've ever listened to.

Dukes and Bell is pretty entertaining. They typically get the best interviews. They had the new Atl United coach on the other day, for example

Being completely honest, my being able to listen to sports talk is a driving factor in not wanting UGA to win. It would have been non stop for months.
680 is my go to until weekend/past 7.

Most guys on the radio here aren’t even from Atlanta. We need more homers.

sometimes they are. they are probably at their best during baseball season. i think they rely too much on gimmmicks and try too hard to be funny. Sometimes I am in the mood for that and find it hilarious, and other times I just turn it off.

92.9 i listen to more for the bullshite back and forth. Their sports knowledge isnt much but theyre decently funny throughout the day. Squidbilly was better in the mornings with John and Hugh. Rick and John are ok midday and then Dukes and Bell are just two drunks

92.9 kinda really sucks, if you can actually listen to them more than 2-3 times a month. Also their morning show format sucks. When they come on at 6am, the first 10 mins they might talk about some sports but usually not. They then go on a 10 min commercial break, and then for the next 10 mins(6:20-30am) they do usually talk sports, then another 10 min commercial break. Then at the 6:40am mark they come back and have Wendy (justifying her as a woman hire) come on and she doesn't even talk sports just hollywood entertainment stuff (owned by cbs I assume) and then another 10 min commercial to finish out the hour. They usually get interviews with Falcons later on during the 7/8am marks but the first hour just blows considering it is supposed to be a sports radio station.
The show they have in the afternoon seems to be better but I only occasionally listen to them, so daily listening might not be any better.

I don't like either.
I have checked into podcasts.
If I am forced to pick a best show of the worst, it is chuck and chernoff because that is the closest show to a college football format.
That said... the 680 signal sucks. If I don't have a podcast queued, I channel surf to avoid commercials but land on 92.9 because the signal is more reliable. Hugh Douglas is a win, but that station would rather talk pro-sports than have a meaningful discussion on college).

I mentioned earlier, but the ACC sports channel on Sirius is far superior to anything on the local radio options.
Since most of y'all are probably SEC fans, you might want to try out the SEC sports channel. they did a joint show together the morning of the national championship and the SEC guys seemed to know their shite.
For baseball, the Talking Chop podcast is excellent.

I'm the exact opposite, the silliness is what makes it great. Other shows try to imitate it, but the chemistry on that show isn't imitate-able.
They don't just hammer you with hot sports takes for 3 hours a day. They mix it up with some entertainment. There's an immaturity there that is like they are my theater-of-the-mind buddies for my commute home, and make me feel like I'm getting wings and beers for happy hour with my sports buddies when I'm really in I-85 traffic.

The 680 signal is actually very strong in the day,I used to get it all the way in Athens. The FCC makes them cut it at sundown, because it is AM radio. I can explain why if you like, but it's complicated enough that you should probably duckduckgo it if you are interested.

I’ve caught 680 almost to Albany too.

It has its black holes. Was in mableton yesterday and it was getting stepped on. Also for whatever reason it cuts out at 285 and camp creek.
