Just a few hours after placing pitcher Max Fried on the 15-day injured list, the Atlanta Braves suffered yet another blow to their everyday lineup. Second baseman Ozzie Albies sustained a fractured left wrist during Sunday's matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals and the team announced he's expected to be sidelined for approximately eight weeks.

Albies left the game in the ninth inning after suffering an apparent left wrist injury while attempting to tag out Michael Siani on the basepaths.

shite! I really think last year was our year. Our offense was incredible. It's not looking great this year already 10 behind Phillies and 4 infront of Mets.

The Phillies have come down to earth some but the Braves haven't capitalized on shite. The Mets are still hanging around too.

I'd say we may just be in a fight for a WC spot but still a lot of baseball left. That being said, there's a lot of just average to good teams out there this season, Braves being one of them.
Everyone that looked unbeatable has come crashing down to earth (Phillies, Yankees, Orioles, etc)

35-35 over the last 70 games. This isn't a good baseball team.

No Fried, Acuna, Strider and Albies.

Not good.
