I can’t handle watching any more of ender’s ground balls, weak fly balls, and strike outs. It is time to bring up pache.

Any pitchers floating around out there to be picked up?

I think the Riley experiment has run its course as well.

This is not the year to sell the farm for a pitcher. You're only going to get about 8 starts out of him, and if he tests positive for KungFlu, you're essentially getting nothing from him.

I haven’t lost hope in him yet

Are there ANY worthwhile guys on the block? Don’t seem like too many teams would be willing to talk and there does seem to be a good deal of parity, especially given the expanded playoff field.
There’s little incentive to buy given the short season and there’s little incentive to sell.

Doubtful.
I'd kick the tires on someone like a Matt Carpenter to come in and play third if we got truly desperate with our shite production out of camargo/riley. He struggled last year, is 34 years old, and the Cards are 3rd place with a shite ton of double headers coming up and while playing in a really top heavy NL central. Don't see them making any noise at all this year, and because of the things I just mentioned I think we could get him for incredibly cheap. Not really a huge difference maker or anything but would give us another vet with a little bit of LH pop.
Not exciting but I think that's the type of move you'd see before we trade some real pieces for a month of play.

I’m gonna come out and say it. Duvall is playing all-star level baseball.
Ender not getting that bunt down SHOULD be the end of him. Pache center, ozuna left, Duvall right. If Duvall and kakes split right fine but I don’t want to see ender again unless he is a defensive sub in left or right when we have a lead.

Any trades you guys see us making? Don’t think we pull the trigger on bigger names like Clevinger or Lance Lynn, but could see us bringing back Mike Minor or going after Johnny Cueto so Tomlin can go back to the pen.

I don't like the idea of going big this year, but Clevinger is controlled through 2023 and is on a team who is not happy with him. At least kick the tires on him. If he's not available, ask the Reds what it would cost to get Bauer.
I'm good on Cueto and Minor.

Why the hell was the game postponed tonight? We’re pulling a nationals...

I think MLB in general is trying to limit time in the clubhouse. Since they don’t have to worry about fans spending money and making the effort to go to the game, I think it makes sense to simply call the game so teams don’t get stuck hanging around for hours.
I hate postponements but it makes sense

It has never really been his MO, but I have a feeling that AA is burning up the phones and wants to make a move for a big time starter this year. Clevinger is my pipe dream. Lance Lynn is the other name.
