Meh. Allard was a top 20 pick and was highly rated through last year. Was expecting a bigger return. They could have at least added Hunter pence

What is funny is that the trade to Cleveland was announced like 20 minutes before the brawl, so half of the Indians return on the Bauer trade will likely be suspended for a few games.

Not being able to watch the game right now at work, I have the espn gamecast up. Pretty interesting seeing how each play changes the win probability. For example the Nats just had runners 1st and 3rd with 1 out in the bottom of the 4th with the Braves up 3-1. The Braves win probability at that point was 57.3%. When Suzuki lined into a double play to end the inning the win probability shot up to 70.2%.
Kind of highlights the significance of those handful of high leverage plays in the game.

I blame fricking Chip and the boys for talking about how our bullpen was "#1 in the Majors in blah blah blah" right after we got back from the All-Star break. I'm used to feeling a little nervous in close games, but our bullpen makes me questions 14-5 and 11-2 leads.

What a mess but a 4-2 road trip against the Phils and nats who are now both 6.5 back. Phils have a game tonight and could retake 2nd place.
