I would hate to lose Joyce. Dude is a .500+ SLG bat off the bench. We don't really have another legit LH bat right now to pinch hit, since Camargo is stronger from the right. And no...Ender wouldn't be what I'd consider a legit LH bat off the bench lol. We'd probably want to keep him available for a defensive substitution or pinch runner anyways.
Not directed at you, but it feels like Braves fans are scared of having legit options on the bench. If we end up with no room for a starting caliber player, the first thought is to ship them off or send them to the minors.
If the team would simply commit to keeping 2 starters in the pen for multi inning appearances, then we could go back to a 12 man pen and this problem solves itself.

No score through 2 innings, Soroka is bringing it so far and the other pitcher isn't bad I guess he struck out Ronald and Austin.

Agree with this, and Newcomb has been outstanding in the pen so far. Snit needs to stop treating him like a LOOGY

Braves up 1-0 thanks to the speedy Ronald Acuna, base hit then stealing 2nd and 3rd and scaring the pitcher into throwing the ball way past third base so he could score on the error.

They need to move him ahead of Markakis in the lineup so he won't be leading off the inning so much.

Congrats to Riley, that was a smash. I want Pache up too and I want Waters in AAA. Afraid we'll lose Camargo at seasons end. He's too good of a player to sit the bench.

This would be a huge win for the club. Soroka pitched a gem, Riley hit a HR, this is great for a young team. And we're right there in the division.

Culberson is insane. He can play any infield position, including first. He plays outfield and he's a bullpen pitcher. Amazing athlete.

And he's the backup catcher after McCann/Flowers. Wonder how much of a run lead Snitker needs to leave Riley in the game late.

Braves win 4-0, Jackson saved Soroka's W. Riley and Culberson with the homers. Let's win that series tomorrow with Julio pitching if you can.

I agree with you. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago but the bullpens in the NL east are garbage. Anyone that cared to get a decent one would win the division by 10 games.
