Just got to be realistic. Our lineup and rotation can be good enough to win imo. Our bullpen is obviously atrocious tho as currently constructed.

I get what you're saying...not an easy puzzle to solve.

Let's see where we stand after Memorial Day.

Probably won’t get a straight answer to this.

Just look up 2018 free agents and every reliever who is worth a shite that's been traded starting with the guy that is lights out right now for the Mets. You have guys in the minors that will never see the Major League team that still hold value as prospects that could land bullpen arms.

List of free agents below that were available
Adam Ottavino would be solid. Not having his best year but he's got great stuff and really good movement on his pitches. David Robertson who signed with Philly was also available and his stuff is electric. He's not been good so far this year but he still has great stuff. Craig Kimbrel is still available. Brad Brach is still pretty good and was available. Justin Wilson is a solid Loogey that was available. Kelvin Herrera is putting in work.Greg Holland still hasn't given up a run out of the bullpen.

Obviously we cant sign everyone but there were certainly good relievers available and yet here we are with pretty much the same group from last year.

The Braves are losing by 1 early. Ender got hurt running to first on a base hit, they thought it was the hamstring but uncertain... and he was replaced by Camargo.

Then Soroka hit a triple, well sorta with mucho errors, anyway he's on third and got Camargo home. 1-1.

Ozzie got a hit and brought Soroka home, 2-1 Braves lead.

Ozzie hit another homer in the 5th, 3-1 Braves. Keep going and take the consecutive game record guy, your friend won't mind.

Braves win 3-1, hell of a pitching performance. Not just Soroka the bullpen too. Webb was killing them for the save.

Soroka is an absolute monster. Love watching that kid pitch.

Yep he is looking good. Starting rotation could end up being really solid this year with Folty, Fried, Soroka, Gausman, and whoever can lock down the fifth spot. Hitting lineup looks great too. Defense is solid. So, about that bullpen AA?

Think Ole Miss and Lsu fans feel left out by the Braves who cover all the southeast... mostly, with Braves country?

In the 2nd, Julio gave up a run, then Joyce answered with 2 in an RBI. 2-1 Braves

SD has 4 runs thanks to Julio, they were up 2, but Ronald got an RBI in the 8th to cut the deficit to 1. One more try I guess.

Braves lost by 1 and dropped to 3rd place. Had to watch the SD players high five in the infield this time. Hope Fried has better luck than Julio tomorrow and can win a series.

You know what agitates me most about this? You know who has the 27th, 28th, and 29th highest bullpen ERAs?

It's the Marlins, Mets, and Nats in that order.

The Braves are 17, Phillies are 13.

If anyone cared to get a decent bullpen they would win the division by 10 games.

eta: That was yesterday, looked today and the Marlins have moved up to 26th.
