abandoning this team until the bullpen is fixed. Shouldn't have to score 7 or more runs for a win. This bullpen is pathetic. Liberty media doesn't deserve the finances. frick em

Doesn't fix the problem with the entire bullpen outside of Luke Jackson being a giant pile of shite capable of blowing a game at a moments notice.
We could have Camargo at 3rd and invested that 16 mil into a bullpen since it's pretty clear that was the only plan on investing this offseason. The bullpen last year was a giant black eye and they did absolultly nothing to address it.

Who exactly did you want to sign if not Kimbrell?
The top 5 FA relief pitchers (contract wise)signed in '19 have a grand total of 1 save between them.

frick this bullpen... I was driving down 75 and saw fireworks in the top of the ninth... Only our shite show off a pen can figure out how to give up 5 fricking runs with 2 outs already...

Considering how smit uses the starters. You need 4 guys that can get thru an inning not one. There was a ton of free agent relievers that could have been added to address this garbage arse shite show. No excuse for not addressing the bullpen. NONE

I was all for trying to trade for Brad Hand last year and would been happy to trade 2 or 3 of our pitching prospects to get em (other than Anderson,Fried or Soroka)Not sure how much of an effort the Braves put in trying pulling the trigger.

If we don't sign Kimbrell we should see what the Reds want for either Garrett, Stephenson Hughs or perhaps even Iglesias (longshot I know)if they continue to wallow in last place.

The rockies put in their worst pitcher... a lefty... today, 3-0 Braves after the first. Ozzie homered and Freddie did too with Josh on base. Let's get some more runs to take care of the coming bullpen.

Gausman decided the lead was unnecessary and gave it to the Rockies in the 3rd 4-3, then Ozzie answered with his second homer to tie it 4-4 again in the bottom half.

In the 4th, Gausman only gave up one run a sac fly. Then the bottom half ATL answered with a Swanson sac fly after Camargo tripled (a gift triple from Blackmon but we'll take it) 5-5.

Kimbrel is a pipe dream. When he’s truly a FA in June someone will probably pay him. Bullpen issues are pretty widespread across the mlb.
