Braves announced their starting pitcher Saturday night at home against the Rockies... Folty! Between now and then it's Soroka and Julio. Now they just need to announce the day before that. Guessing... Fried?

Gausman was alright til 2 outs in the ... first inning (it's Gausman not Julio i'm pretty sure). He gave up a hit then a homer. 2-0 reds.

4th inning, the home plate ump is tearing the Braves lineup a new one with his "i want to go home early" expanded strike zone for a Reds pitcher that doesn't need much help. Only Ronald and Ender have managed hits. Gausman is taking advantage of it as much you might say, just gave up another homer. 3-0 lead for the worst non-fishy team in the league over the 3rd place in the East Braves.

Great 6th inning, Braves take the lead! RBI's by Josh nick and Freddie. Great baserunning too. They got that pitcher out of there. 4-3 Bravos.

Well, it was a great top of the 6th. Gausman doesn't like leads or something and gave up his 5th run before the hook came. Hope the bullpen can keep it close cause the Braves are down again but only one.

Biddle walked in a run (one of G'mans runners) and got replaced. Parsons pitching and a sac fly made it 7-4 so far, more bullpen to come.

Culberson got a run back on an RBI double after Ender had a bunt single. 7-5 reds.

PH plus top of the lineup Braves hitters coming up in the 9th down one, after Sobotka wanted to be dramatic and load all the damn bases before he got all the outs.

Braves lost bummer. Joyce doubled and the top 3 hitters couldn't do anything much.

if Albies doesnt try to bunt for a hit and bunting to sacrifice we at very least tie the game next AB. Yet another loss to the bullpen though :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I know he was bunting on his own but fid he sat he was bunting for a hit? Not a big difference between the two and was hard either way against a 96 mph fastball.Just a bad decision

I'm not one to blast players but Biddle has not done well post-tweet.

To say the least. Somehow this guy seems to suck every time he is out there but still has an ERA of 2.38. He may not be letting a lot of "his" guys score, but he sure as hell isn't getting the job done regardless. In his last 5 outings he has walked 8 fricking batters in 2 2/3 innings. Twice he hasn't even been able to record an out, including last night when he face 3 batters and walked ALL OF THEM before being yanked.

The Braves pitchers are simply allowing too many base runners to remain competitive over the long haul. Right now that have the worst opponent's OBP in the NL mostly because they easily have the most walks in the majors (their BAA is not great, but not terrible - it's the walks that are absolutely killing them).

Same problem we had last year with bullpen (and pitchers in general) doesn't seem like a new pitching coach is making a difference...maybe we should try getting some new pitchers

Why do the Braves/Reds finale tomorrow game have to be a night game like the first two? They travel home to play the next day against the Rockies. If the game that could've been in the afternoon tomorrow goes into extra innings or has a long delay that would really suck.
