Bullpen is horrendous again. Nothing was done to improve it during the off season. Cost us several wins.

That's the fricking thing that's infuriating... they *knew* without any doubt that the bullpen was insufficient... They're going to have to convert some arms and hit or go out and acquire someone before the trade deadline if they're in a good position...

Braves need to get the lead back with insurance to survive 2 more innings of bullpen pitching. Too bad they couldn't afford help.

I think it's always a difficult call to pull a reliever, but Snit has to pull them earlier imo.

Great tag by Donaldson after the guy made it on the slow throw.

This bullpen is going to take down a solid team. We can't win giving up 7 runs. It's just not good baseball and it's horseshite the team did absolutely frick all to address the bullpen.

I also don’t get all the praise for AA because he resigned two restricted guys, good moves yes, not genius. When your response to critics as to why you didn’t make more moves is; “we like our team,” you’re either stupid or a liar.

It’s really a shame because this team could win it all with an ace and a couple of MLB level relief pitchers.

Man tough loss, the Braves are farther back in the div. Wonder if Gausman will feel like pitching 9 tomorrow night?

The braves, like most teams, are obsessed with hard throwers who can’t pitch. They can all throw 98, but yet they all suck.

The deal with the pen dates back to Coppy with him going all in on big arm high risk pitchers. The problem is most of them bust.

Olbies’ and Acuna’s deals were insane. AA is setting us up for long-term success

Yes. And it’s hard to find consistency. Even guys who got paid like Ottavino have roller coaster careers. Luckily, all of our competition has the same problem

That still doesn't negate the fact that they knew the bullpen was bad -and us fans let them know- and they sat on their arse.

It was a poor product and they chose to keep the same poor product. They also knew Snit pulls his starters around 100 pitches, so there was a need to acquire middle relievers. The lack of moves is rearing its ugly head.
