But you know it’s killing them that they’ve gone eight of their last 10 and so have we so they haven’t gained a game. They can’t keep this pace up I don’t think

Go Cubbies!!Would be sweet if they could win today and tomorrow. And our Braves need to continue finding ways to win. Absolutely phenomenal job by AA bringing in these players to help during these injuries.Cubs-Nats are on mlb network.

So Freddie is to Shitti Field as Chipper was to Shea, in case anyone wasn't already aware.

I loveeeee the Braves so much for this sweep.

The Mets should crawl the frick back to the sewers where they belong.

Read that Tampa wanted to play a split home schedule with half there and half in Montreal.

Doubt either city will go for that.

what the frick are you talking about?

edit: lol nevermind. I didn't realize y'all were talking about Dwag uniforms.

I hate Georgia, but there's nothing much better than their classic red helmets, red jerseys, and silver pants with the ocassional black jersey.

From that article they mention the Braves +78 run differential. That actually surprised me because I had not looked in a long time. I definitely thought it would be a lot more than that with 80 wins.

Looking deeper you have what most consider to be the clear cut 3 favorites which are not surprising:

Dodgers +214 (wow)
Astros +197
Yankees +152

The Twins are right there with the Yankees at +151 which is not that surprising given how prolific their offense is.

I was surprised that the Braves were only +78. With our offense it feels like it should be more than that but we have given up a lot of runs (626). Also surprised that the Nationals are comfortably ahead of us in run differential at +107.

I guess one way to look at it is that the Braves are not as dominant as the 80-52 record would indicate. The other way to look at it is the Braves are evidently very good in close games, which I do think matters as those games are just different and they are usually what you get in the playoffs.

Braves have given up a ton of garbage time runs were 10-2 games turned into 10-6 games.

Man, if our pen was fully formed like this all year, we'd likely be even with the Dodgers right now in terms of W/L record.
