Knox has definitely seemed to come into his own at tight end.

If he can catch and add 32 pounds he will be Antonio Gonzalez playing size, 6’5 247lbs.

2: Petrino vs. Pittman by Hawgeye
I’m not really concerned about WR. We will return Jackson, Crawford, and Thompson as a decent core with Knox as a flex/TE.

I am. I don't think we realize just how good Burks is.
If he goes to an NFL team with a good QB. Look out

We lost most of the core of that team to graduation/NFL.

Just say the truth, nutt would win the West then spend 2 years going 4-7. He should have been fired in 2004 and definitely 2005, but he was one of Franks boys.

He didn’t play McFadden until the season was almost over in 05. Which is worse only slightly worse than Morris not playing Catalon at all his freshman year.

Nutt had a plane waiting for him to coach at Nebraska for more money, but he stayed knowing we'd have tough times coming due to NCCAA penalties.

He should have left and said frick you to the pricks who think they know something about football.

Well, Call me a prick then. I worked with Nutt at FCA events, among other things. He got way too big for his lack of success. You would have thought he had won multiple NC's at Arkansas with his demands, psychopathic ways, and arrogance.

He played the field regarding football by always hedging his bets with other programs, and he played the field against his family/wife.

He was a liar, petty, and turned on the fans when the fans were slowly turning on him.

The truth is, he should have never been hired at Arkansas when tubberville was an option, or Butch Davis, or... On and on.

You missed a comparison:

Petrino - Was hated by half of humanity (I liked him though)

Pittboss - Is loved by the whole of humanity. He could seriously run for 3rd party president of the United States and people from both major parties and third parties would vote for him

He needs to go ahead and move that retirement lake home to Beaver Lake instead of Hot Springs

Nutt should have taken the plane after squandering a team full of upperclassmen that should have won 10 plus games. Then Butch Davis comes in and wins an SEC title with McFadden.

They gave him a two year pass not because of the NCAA but had the WORST recruiting class in Arkansas history, the 2000 class. Which for a rare moment admitted it was his fault but that changed when he became the first head coach to survive back to back losing seasons since the early 50s. You got to rub a lot of elbows to survive that.

Nutt had to be a brown noser because he couldn't survive at any school that demanded greater expectations. That he why he knew that he wasn't going to be good enough at Nebraska.

My ideal scenario at the time was for Nutt to take the Nebraska job and us hire Spurrier to replace him.

Granted, we wouldn't have gotten Petrino, but we would've gotten a decade out of Spurrier and would've also avoided the darkest timeline that occurred from 2012 onward.

Speaking of, Spurrier is the last coach from the East to beat Saban at Alabama. That occurred in 2010.

Safer in Hot Springs. If he does flame out he won’t be right here. If he succeeds like everyone hopes, we will send a PJ to fly him up here for big events.
