Can’t believe we crapped the bed in that one.

I ain't mad about it. That's a really good team we were up against. We had our chances and couldn't see it through. That's softball.

That was classic Arkansas at the CWS right there.

Hate that we couldn’t hold on to the lead in the 8th. At least we didn’t go full dropped foul ball, forget how to play defense, kick the ball around in LF mode. But still, very emotional high stakes game that ends in a loss is so on brand for us. The game and the loss in and of itself isn’t that bad. The bigger problem is they have to somehow emotionally regroup and play UCLA in an elimination game tonight. As last night’s game wore on, it became clear whoever lost that game was probably going to lose to UCLA and exit the WCWS quietly at 0-2.

The curse of Frank lives on.

He should've kicked the FG against Texass in '69

We sort of did in the 4th when Rijo and Herron both just watched Reagan’s throw come in and put zero effort into fielding it, allowing the runner to take 2nd on a seeing eye single.

I hate that Reagan got charged with a throwing error. She did her job in fielding the ball and getting it in. All Rijo had to do was move 1 step to the left and center up on it.

Not woulda coulda shoulda, but it might’ve been different if it’s just a runner on 1st and 1 out situation, especially since the next batter reached on an infield single that probably would’ve been a force at 2nd.

Nebraska tied it up that inning and all the momentum shifted and Frahm went into shutdown mode.

Not saying that play was the difference, but it cost us.

Just bad luck..

But typical Arkansas.

All we needed was 2 outs and we give up a HR.

Regardless, this season was a step forward from previous years. Could have easily won last night and found ourselves in the winners bracket.
