Short term quick fixes are Petrino and the Pirate.Those are for short term,instant gratification.
Norville has Arkansas ties,the state that is.
I would like to see a coach who understands our history and bring back some state pride.
But no gus please,he's Houston Nutt without the firey pre game speeches.If gus is what folks want,bring back Nutt,he had solid lines and though his offense was boring he proved he could win games in this conference here.
As far as texas recruiting is concerned,I think they have emphasized their spread offense crap so much that toughness and defense aren't being taught down there.

The rumors of character issues came out after OM was reportedly looking at him. Their posters brought it here from their boards and ran with it.
It is more likely that it was spread to try and justify keeping Luke at the time while also poisoning the well keeping him at Memphis for a little while longer and it worked.
