Portal haul….2 kickers and a long snapper…think maybe Starsyk and Ngo are outa here as soon as Fountain lands?

My guesses:

1. South Carolina
2. Tennesee (who did not like this kid we just picked up).
3. LSU…because they can’t stop impulse spending…

The two kickers is very odd as Starsyk already said he was staying. I wonder if he got pushed out instead?

if nothing else they were not sold on him and were bringing in comp. I could see the first move as comp then when he realized he was gonna compete for the job he decided he was out, which pushed them to bring in a 2nd.

From Trey:

quote:

A good source tells me, while he indicated he was returning to Arkansas, he just never would sign the paperwork, and those representing his interests were still out 'shopping.' So Arkansas had no choice but to move forward. Notre Dame actually alerted Arkansas that this was still going on despite his commitment.

Kickers entering the portal for more money shows what a shitshow this is. Just shut it down already.

I’m glad we didn’t beg him to stay. You’re a fricking kicker. One that missed multiple big time kicks at that (ole miss and another game that slips my mind.) he can kick rocks.

Yeah… Not upset about Scottie2Hottie and his short shorts and missed crucial FGs leaving. Could develop well, but there’s lots of guys kicking the distance and accuracy he was. If he doesn’t want to be here, in the words of MJ -

Not a good look, no matter how common it is these days. You say you're staying somewhere, you stay, unless the other party gives you good reason to go back on your word. If you're uncertain, say youre uncertain. Don't say you are staying while simultaneously looking elsewhere. Guaranteed he said he was staying to keep us from moving on and would've left us in the lurch the minute something "better" came along. Kids know nothing of "commitment" anymore.

Just so it’s said…TN has an even worse view of the kid we are bringing in. Missed several clutch FGs.

The Georgia State guy is the interesting one to me. He’s made a 60 yarder in a game before so he’s got a leg on him.
