Facts... how in the world can you be that flat for a game that could get you in the top 25 and possibly on the cusp of a playoff conversation.
Don't have to worry about all that now... just go play hard and get a W

Well, we still can't sleep on Moo State. Those cowbells would be very uncomfy.

I know. If we win this will be a heart breaker for you. Keep the faith. We still have a quarter to play.

Just tired of every loss being treated like the Western Kentucky blowout. Losing to a top 10 team doesn't mean we just forgot how to play football.

Drew! For shame. We've hung half a hundred on a team today. You know half the people on here are crying their eyes out. Don't rub it in.

Give them some encouragement by saying we'll lose out.

I’m hyper critical of Pittman. But he appears to have pulled us together and I’m really only mad about the OSU loss because of the turnovers(I guess I could say the same about atm, but we were gassed). LSU has a good team and we had a lot of weird shite happen. I’m watching Vanderbilt give Texas a run for their money and I’m seeing that our team can compete and aren’t a bunch of entitled wusses. Seeing our rbs go next man up and green level up was impressive after a home loss. I’ve believed that I’d be happy with a bowl season, but I’m pleasantly surprised and were fun to watch.

The difference is Oklahoma State is a dogshit team that we handily outplayed, and then gifted them the game. They're now 3–5 and 0–5 in the Big 12. They should be 2–6. This is a team that might not make a bowl. MSU had a similar game against us when you look at the stats, but we won 58–25 and took a knee to prevent scoring again, not in double OT.

Bad games and close losses happen. A&M was unfortunate, but Sam's the only coach we've had since Petrino who beat them even once, anyway. But we have to win the games against teams that won't make a bowl game even with us as a win. And the Liberty-type games, too. They were on their third string QB that game.

No team can no longer overlook any game on any schedule.

This is why coaches need to coach like it will be the very last game for them. Players need to play like it is the last game for them. Play not just hard but play smart and play prepared. Never go lazy and do the best that you can.

I feel better knowing Arkansas came ready to play and they came prepared. Arkansas didn't overlook them like the Aggies and Georgia did. The LSU game put Arkansas in between a rock and hard place. They needed to rebounded quickly or all momentum from the Tennessee win would be lost. They took care of business against an inferior opponent as they should.

I should clarify it's less about you. I actually agree with the original premise of the thread, but what it turned into was just downright sad.

Legit thread is legit thread. What I’m seeing this year with our team though is that we’re doing things that we physically used to not be capable of even against teams like state on the road. We have two bad losses because of turnovers and had a weird game with LSU and have had some growing pains with a new QB who is showing that he IS getting better every week and scares the shite out of our opponents. Our D makes me happy even if we don’t get a stop every time - great to see how much they’ve improved. I’d love to be undefeated or have 1 loss, but at this point, I’m highly encouraged by the parity and there aren’t many teams that can just dominate us. With the hip thing, I’m considering calling Sam “Gritman” if he keeps rallying. Tired of going through coaches, want to win, but I also want fun and competitive games and I’m getting that on my Saturdays this year. Beating TN brought back special memories from junior high for me. Not saying this year should be the benchmark or ceiling, but I’m having fun and it’s great to see guys stepping up and getting better even amongst injuries. Russell is going to be a freaking beast any year we have a halfway decent line and Dobinion remains a stable Mable when he’s out in good positions. When the he’ll did Teslaa start getting so open on every play!? When did our D get mean? Liking the attitude that we play with. Jackson is a certified physical freak and would have 3x the stats if he weren’t triple teamed almost every play. Not saying we take down OM or run the table, but I’m having fun and having a winning conference record at this point is nice and a place we usually aren’t at by this point in the year.
