Can't sleep on anybody now.
UNC not what they normally are, but if we get them and beat them, it's still a great win just for recognition purposes.
Beat Wofford, average fan will say 'they were supposed to', beat UNC and average fan will say 'hey, they beat North Carolina, must be pretty good.'
But, getting ahead of myself.

Wofford has 7 guys they want to play.
KenPom has us winning by 6 and its at 73%. Also has the pace at 66 possessions.
Their best win is at NC State, 55-54. Other than that, their best win as against Sam Houston State....I'll leave that there.

it's gonna come down to guard play
they are gonna front portis and help on the weak side and make our guards get him the ball
if we make a conscious effort to get portis the ball we won't have any trouble with Wofford

I think we have a chance to get to the Sweet 16, but it is def going to require great execution and a bit of luck.

They play strictly man to man defense so Portis, Qualls, and Harris should have big games taking it to the basket. Also, Kingsley could have a big game off the bench.
Against Wofford, we have a chance to jump on them early and let our bench get some big minutes which would be great with the UNC game following this one.
Can't give up 20 point leads...we need to step on their throats and let our players save their legs in the 1st round!

They got a 6'7 230 guy that they will play at the 5 spot. Portis should dominate him badly. Good thing for Portis is he will be able to help and rest on Defense. That guy is no threat whatsoever on offense.
He is rated as their 2nd best offensive threat via KenPom though. Doesn't shoot much but I suppose he scores when he tries. 52.4 Effective FG %

Y'all way out talent them. As I see it, there is only one thing that can keep this a game. The refs. If they call a tight game, it's hard to play that fastest 40. If they let them play a bit, y'all will run them out of the building by the 2nd half.

Yeah, I'm a tiny bit apprehensive about their size and ref perspective. Portis backs down in the post...offensive foul! Little guys best defense in the post sometimes is the flop...up to the officials. Sooo...

I'm not talking about Saturday until we get out alive on Thursday. I think we win but I'm not convinced we dominate them.... I hope we do.... but it's the big dance..... remember Nolan's best teams had a couple of early round scares from "nobody's"

Wofford 2nd round game against Michigan from last year is on youtube.. literally same players they have this year. Michigan won 57-40.

That is awesome... yet... It might be a bit much for just making it into the tourney field.
