No, not how good they are, but that they aren't a terrible team like you're making them out to be

We got out rebounded, OSU was better at the line.

Only stat we won was the 3 pt. shooting %, it was the difference in the game at home.

Frank Martin went to the final 4 last year. We deserve better.

Auburn hired Bruce and in 4 years he's 19-2 AT frickING AUBURN. We have shitty fans but it's not the ones putting heat on Mike in year 7.

2nd worst shooting team? Link? Are you referring to 3pt only?

Either way, we kept them to well below their average on both, pretty good I'd say

Defense was on point

How can you refute that?

38.5% shooting (5th best shooting team in their conference)
Under 30% from 3, under their average

Turned them over 16 times, more than they average

I think there are also just a ton of fans that, like me, wait till the end of the season to really react.

If you're attributing their 3 pt % to our defense I know you didn't pay attention. They took the 3's because they were open. They missed them because they suck at shooting them. Our defense didn't get better. They just went cold. 7 minutes without a bucket and we won by 1. Again, glad we won. But there's nothing to take from this game that should make anyone feel like things are changing for the better in any aspect that has been plaguing us since conference play started. Still the same horribly executed basketball we've seen the past few weeks.

We let them have low percentage shots and really keyed on the easy ones to shut them down

Dziagawa was the only guard on their team that consistently missed his open looks. He was 1-8. The rest of the guards on their team that shot more than 1 3 all had percentages above 33 from deep. You're more than welcome to be "happy" with the win. I'll let out a sigh of relief for our RPI but that's it. The team that played tonight doesn't get past the first round.

Yeah it is! We were extremely lucky to be playing a projected NIT team tonight!

Not really... we shot like shite. If we had shot like we normally do, we would have won by 20 or more

Our guards went 4-22, while our other starters were 4-9. That's because our guards were just jacking up shots and not even trying to get the ball inside. We looked like a playground team, until they calmed down some.

Defense did look better.

Isn't that just Okie Lite playing good defense and giving up low percentage shots?

Depending on who's shooting them, yes
