Three-point shooting concerns.

In our last 4 games, our 3-point shooting percentages have been 22%,17%,17%, and 13%. Is it because we are not taking good shots? Or are our personnel not suited to take many threes? I'm not too knowledgeable on floor movement/shot selection, so I wanted to hear any input. I noticed Devo didn't take a three last night and maybe had his best game this season.

Muss said earlier this week that % would go up if we would stop trying to force it off the bounce and instead take the 3s where we can get our feet set.

I think its a combination of a couple of things
1. Muss doesn't really focus on getting open looks from behind the 3 point line.
While we do a great job moving the ball around, we generally look more for cuts around the basket for easier looks. I don't think this is something we force, if an open 3 look is there we get the ball to the player but we have had so many good cuts this year to the basket. So far this year we are 295th in 3 point shots per any field goal attempt. Last year was 260th.
2. We really don't have a spot of shooter except for Jaxon Robinson.
There are other players that can hit a spot up look but it really isn't their specialty or niche (Umade, Toney, JD, Jaylin, Devo and Lykes). All those guys would rather work someone off the dribble or do some damage in the paint. Vanover could be a pick and pop guy but he isn't making enough of his open 3 attempts to be a factor in that. Plus you lose alot of value in having him around the rim. I'm hoping that we find more mins for Jaxon because he could really be an added threat for the defense to worry about.

Notae and Lykes are cold and forcing up more than they should anyway. They will heat up eventually. If they don't soon we will lose @ OK or maybe even before.

So is muss. He was pissed after Penn. Said exactly that because we played so poorly we didn't get to out Jaxon out there to be evaluated.

As long as Jaxon can play decent defense, I think he will be fine.
If he has a future in the league, it will be 3&D
