South Carolina loses to Florida,us and mizzou. They also beat two top 10 teams in back to back weeks. Lsu gets blown out by Tennessee and loses to fsu but then continues to win the sec west. Florida beats one of the best teams in the pac 12 then proceeds to shite the bed in sec schedule. I don’t know what the hell to think about Pittman but we aren’t the only team sitting around thinking what could’ve been. It seems that parity is coming back to college football and so having a better game day coach/schematic genius will become more important as the days of only a few teams hogging all the talent maybe slipping away with NIL, portal etc. maybe we shouldn’t be so doom and gloom and just see where next year takes us

Issue with that is low energy, motivation and effort displayed after Pittman hired Sexton.

Our identity which was toughness and passion for the game disappeared this year. Lots of going through the motions and not flying to the ball or coming out on offense without a plan and trying to see how the defense is going to matchup against us the first drive.

Down 17-0 to FCS Missouri State, down 28-0 to bad Alabama team, down 21-0 at State without KJ, down 21-0 to Liberty on homecoming (first home game in more than a month).

With a 2-point loss Friday afternoon — a 29-27 defeat at the hands of Missouri — the Razorbacks now lead the country in losses by a field goal or less since 2020, Pittman’s first season at the helm. It was their eighth, breaking a tie with Toledo.

Pittman is now 18-17 overall as head coach of the Arkansas football program, which means nearly half of his losses have been by 3 points or less.

The Razorbacks did manage to win a couple of those games last year, beating Mississippi State and LSU by three in back-to-back weeks, but that’s it. They went 0-3 in games decided by 3 points or less in Pittman’s first season and are now 0-4 in such games in 2022. The eighth close loss was against Ole Miss last season, when they went 2-1.

It’s almost like he takes his aw shucks straight into the scores… I don’t want to beat a guy so bad they might fire him. Let’s play for a tie and hope everyone had fun.

Except he went for the win against Ole Miss last year. He was overly aggressive a couple games this season too so I don't know if I totally agree. Maybe getting the contract did lower his motivation to prove himself.

I thought we'd take a step back this year but I wasn't expecting 6-6.

Very Bert-esque.

In 2015 we finished 7-5 but were 13 points from a 10-2 record.

Both teams suffered from a result of poor coaching.

Arkansas with LSU losing this game with the aggies could have been tied with LSU and Bama for first place in the West.
