Yep. If that's the case, then I have no sympathy for Long here even though I think he did a good job as AD. That would have absolutely gutted the football program going forward. We'd be averaging 50,000 next year.

It's not just one issue, with these state jobs you have to frick up several times and there has to be documentation of the frick ups.

other than that based on information at the time he has made terrific hires. no one saw Bielema being this bad or Petrino taking joy rides with his newly hired ex volleyball player. can't predict that stuff so can't hold it against him at the time both hires were talk of the football world

Hearing $25 million over budget on the expansion that he was not transparent about and improper use of the university jet.
^even the 25 million is probably somewhat nit picky, especially the plane piece but they'll throw the book at you when it counts.

The latter would surprise me...the former would not.
I really don't like the idea of looking for a new AD and coach at the same time.
