I was told this same thing, but also told that the decision will be made following the SEC tourney. This one game will not make the decision.
And after today's game, that prevailing fart wind hasn't changed. But, Nolan made it more difficult with his comments to boosters, others today and last night.

It was messy the day they hired Mike as head coach.
He hasn’t accomplished anything close to what he was brought back to do.
Win in the NCAA tournament and be at the top of the SEC.
It doesn’t take 8-10 years to flip a basketball program but if the HC and his hand picked assistants can’t recruit like everyone else, they are only wasting everyone’s time and money.
The excuses are done. Time is up. Perform or GTFO.

I'm being told that Mike might get fired. He also might not get fired. I'm hearing that some players really like him and some do not. Also hearing that Mike has not found that damn bear.

Oh and Nolans interview was ridiculous. The guy can barely string together a coherent sentence. He was right about one thing. You have to recruit to win. Mike has FAILED to do so.. Nolans comments about digging out of a hole... give me a break Nolan. Its time to wash the stink of you and your ilk off the program.

In today's culture this can be said of every single team out there. We are seeing something like 900 players transfer each year. It's sheer insanity if you ask me. We have taught the kids of this generation that you can just frickin quit if you aren't happy with your playing time.
So I'm sure there's a few players on this team that feel they should play more minutes than they do and those guys probably make all kinds of excuses for why they aren't getting minutes.
With 900 players transferring each season these days you can bank on two or three of them leaving here.
And regardless of what people are "hearing", Mike isn't getting fired. A couple of boosters being upset with the ball team, and not liking Mike to begin with, aren't enough to fire him.

If this is actually true, which I doubt, this is further proof why we're never going to win again anyway.
Arkansas is the poster child for identity-less SJW program.
A close LOSS and squeeking a win out at home against the team picked last in the SEC changed their minds about a huge, program changing decision? Ok.

If the AD is serious about Arkansas basketball Mike will be gone. Period. And naming the court after a guy who sued the University !!! Some of you people are just plain retarded. Nolan said it himself. Give me the best players and I'll win every time. In other words he doesn't see any use for strategy... Honestly he never did. How does a moron like him become a hof coach ?
