Did Atlanta for a mini vacation with the fam. I could not fathom that city getting hit with winter weather. Just carnage.

The slightest amount of freezing stuff will shut us down for a week.

College Avenue still has them though

Yeah. But those are easiest access and first to get attention, so hopefully it’s not a big deal. I’m downtown and usually we don’t lose power. But it could always happen. Prayers to everyone, don’t travel unless you have to (drink instead), and stay warm(there’s serious risk with these low temps if anyone gets stuck anywhere or is out too long). And yeah, as someone mentioned earlier, the first thing that’s gonna happen when I take a step outside is going to be this:

So far they massively overstated how much winter weather my area would get. There might be 2 inches of snow on the ground if that.

Yeah. It’s not bad. We’ll see if it actually gets bad tonight but if you’ve I don’t even know if you need AWD/4WD. I was just out and it didn’t seem too bad as long as you’re not driving like a dummy.

It was weird watching the radar. It showed my area getting snowed on for 4 hours before it actually started snowing.

Gonna get a little more hazardous tomorrow

Crazy. It was 67 and sunny in Baldwin county today. Absolutely beautiful. We do have some cold rain coming though. Stay safe, warm and WITH power, guys.

Huntsville, Al dodged a bullet. We had 5" of rain but the temperature stayed in the mid 40's. Big freeze tonight and Monday. Hope everyone is safe and warm.

second-worst ice storm I was ever in was heading north out of Atlanta and somehow by the grace of God making it to Nashville

I was a 20-something years old fricking idiot and figured Monteagle Mountain wouldn't be a problem

there is no reason I should be alive right now after doing that stupid crap

I haven’t been able to leave my house in 6 days. This is pretty insane.

Quite a few Hog fans down this way. Met a couple that live down Ft. Morgan Rd. last year.

We should think about starting some watch parties. My wife is from Georgia. Lots of Bulldogs around here. I end up going to Baumhower’s or Tammy’s with that crowd. Fun, but ain’t the same. Baumhower’s is…not good.

Hell yes, I'm down. Baumhowers in Foley isn't worth a damn either.
Never tried Tammy's, but not opposed to heading up that way.

We usually go to the Sloop or The Beach House.
