Tennessee is trying their hardest to get only one game out of this.

So Knight is no doubt hurt or has a very dead arm.

He was throwing 93-95 a month ago... 88 now

Idk where they got that radar, but the sensitivity is cranked WAY up. It's not near that bad. Just light stuff

Agreed after seeing Tennessee's last two pitchers. Maybe the gun was old school and catching the speed crossing the plate instead of out of the hand.

Hogs split in Knoxville. Stephan 1 hit SO in game 2.

Fletcher went 5 for 6 over the two games. Had a HR in each.

We split with one of the worst teams in the SEC. I would say this will come back to bite us in the arse but we are well past the arse biting now.

I can't imagine we'll be hosting now.

Tennessee officials fricked us. Game 1 should have been played yesterday morning and 2 games today.

They used the final exams excuse. When the SEC gives only a three day window with no exceptions they need to forget the hard start because of being a TV game. Could've played early Thursday before weather but no had to start at 6 because TV.

Then Tennessee burned 30 minutes in a delay that no precipitation fell only allowing us to get 1 1/2 innings played when they knew all day Friday was a wash from the forecast.

We go 4-2 in our last 6 games and we host for sure IMO.

OP is updated. We sort of got screwed on this past series. Seemed like we could have gotten these games in if we would have had some help from Tennessee. All day on Friday it wasn't raining and we could have played earlier in the day and gotten the rest of game 1 in. Then should have played a double header 7 innings the following day(Saturday).

Anyway, everything is updated. Stats, rankings, RPI, etc.

Hogs stayed pretty steady in the polls and fell a spot in some for going 1-1 on the road. Really need a strong finish here to get that host spot.

The Aubbies gave a us a huge break by losing to Bama, although we couldn't take full advantage of it.

I don't feel good about this 2 game stretch at all. We're losing confidence at the plate.

It's baseball and we could very well get hot and sweep both Vandy and aTm.

So Stephan gets the nod on Friday and Knight to Saturday this weekend. DVH says because Knight threw Thursday and Saturday last weekend. Be interesting to see how this shakes out. Really need 2/3 this weekend. Im just not sure I can see us sweeping Vanderbilt. They haven't been swept all season and have only lost three in a row once.

If we sweep aggie and vandy how does our regional chances look and do we have a shot at a super?

Don't worry about it that won't happen. I'm hoping to at least go 3-3.

Would have to win the league for national seed.

No doubt. Stephan pitched well. Two big hits from Luke and Fletcher goes yard for third consecutive SEC game.

After seeing Kentucky crush Tennessee 15-5 it's obvious that cancelled game last week was because they want to get to SEC tournament on percentage. I wish Georgia would catch and pass them.

I hope they do. Was blatantly obvious they were shooting to only get one game in.
