Looked like the attendance for a high school game.

25,000 to start the game (lol) and most those folks left at half when Miss State came back and tied it up.
Everyone can see at this point that this team quits.

I am taking a loss on my taxes this year.

We have a bunch of family coming in town for Thanksgiving and the guys are probably all going to the game on Friday. I checked SeatGeek before today’s kickoff and saw tickets in 103 for $21/seat. I can’t wait to log back on and check the price again
It’s a far cry from what I paid for our season tickets in SIC prior to giving them up two years ago. The Petrino days were definitely the boom years for resale. Now it’s like having a bunch of shares of Pets.com.

I respect the Chesh. Good luck.

If Bert wasn't roaming the sidelines against Mizzou more fans might show up.

You should have a Bert frick up-themed menu for the tailgate, with items like a Toledo Turkey, T.J. Hammonds Ham, Gus Gravy, SEC Losing Streak Soup, Body By Herb Biscuits, Rutgers Roast Beef, Belk Bowl Brisket, Mizzou Mashed Potatoes, Blown Lead Beans, 10 Yard Cushion Cookies, and a Lower Tier Bowl of Ice Cream.

Thanks for the laugh

Great job, NWA.

It's hilarious we are expanding our stadium and there are 20k in that pic

I know it seems dumb now, but if we get things going on the hill, it’s going to make for an excellent environment. When Miss State closed in their stadium, it completely changed their Gameday environment. It needed to be done.

Really need those shiny new digs for the money folks and the athletic department. The irony is that Jeff won't even get to enjoy them now.

I know attendance is down across college football in general and ours is down particular due to the god awful season we are having -BUT- I think attendance is a huge issue in our state overall.
I flipped through the other instate school games after getting home from ours and they were worse attended than ours. jonesboro tech might have had 8k in their stadium and there is no reason for conway college to not have been sold out. The bears won the 5A Central conference championship and there might have been 4,000 there.
Seems like people in Arkansas aren't going to spend money on football.

I think that's a larger issue that is affecting collegiate and pro sports across the board given the myriad methods and options for fans to consuming live sports programming.
It goes without saying that live sports attendance is a bubble that has either already burst or is in the process of bursting.
That's why, for all the praise he receives for being an astute businessman, the stadium expansion remains Long's greatest and most mystifying mistake.
I have this feeling that in the next few decades, college programs will start reducing (or repurposing) capacity in their stadiums to upgrade fan experience. Why not do something like remove bleachers and install chairback seats throughout the stadium like Louisville did when they built PJC Stadium?

We are battling the pull for fans to stay home, sit in their recliner, and watch on their 100 inch plasma 8K big screen. There are two ways you can do that:
1. Win (everyone is trying to do that - not that easy)
2. Improve amenities.
The expansion/renovation is squarely focused on #2. The new suites, boxes, and club seats are targeting the fan with money who is willing to pay a high price for premium seats. We are also renovating the stadium by buiding two new towers with elevators to help ease access to the stadium. There is supposed to be numerous upgrades throughout the entire stadium.
I do agree that we should reduce capacity by installing chair backs in the lower bowl. The truth is that we should have bowled the stadium originally before we ever expanded up. The 500s should have been the last expansion we ever planned.
