Met Grayson Gunter at the game. Really nice guy. Definitely going to need to add some weight though lol

Oline pass protection was bad at times. Run blocking looked good.

Austin had a couple of bad throws, but he made several nice throws as the game went on.

Dline looked awesome. McTelvin(Sosa) will see immediate playing time.

Secondary and LB's looked great, but didn't get a whole lot of action.

Overall my worries still remain with Oline and QB play. If they can sort out the issues we could be really good. If we don't we are going to be very hard to watch.

Agreed. I don't think he'll struggle nearly as much as BA did though simply because our WR core is ridiculous right now. Our OL needs to step up and AA needs to be more consistent. TE looks good, Sprinkle in position to have a break out year if he can hold on to balls. Hatcher looked good except for the rookie mistake.

Pretty good over all tbh. About where I thought we'd be. The OT has plenty of time to work more and gel as a unit.

I thought Duwop looked good. Willie Sykes impressed me too. JaMario Bell will be interesting to watch at TE with that nice TD today.

Wished they would have passed a little more instead of giving it to Evans in the second half

There are several youngins that intrigue me and Sykes is one of them. He played as little last year and his HS highlight reel was impressive.

Hard to pass when you're getting sacked every snap.

Forgot to mention Cody Hollister. He looked faster than I remember. He kinda gets lost in the shuffle but had a nice game

I watched mainly the QB'S and WR's. I usually watch the O and D line but idk what came over me today. any who austin will have to improve. I expect him to probably turn it on in the second half.

it seems his timing and anticipation isn't where it needs to be. (also his chemistry with hatcher) I watched several times that he threw the ball after the reciever had made his break in a route into open space and it gave the DB a chance to make a play on the ball. it's a good thing we have some warm up games at the beginning and summer to go. Hollister looks faster and looks like he might have the best connection with austin actually. I'm hoping Cornelius gets the ball more but hell there is only 1 ball and like 6 guys between sprinkle and the WR corp.

speaking of sprinkle he looks great.

also peavey's footwork coming out from under center is terrible. too many steps and he just has a rushed happy feet look.

I will try to find the full game online and watch the lines and give my synopsis.

also my brother as usual watched the secondaries coverage the whole time and right before the half we did the exact same thing we did all against auburn and every other team. quarters quarters quarters quarters. we run the same coverage every play when it's a 2 minute drill. we have to mix it up or we will get burned like we did last year just getting out schemed.

Froholdt impressed me. I saw multiple times where he beat the DT off the snap and had him on his back before the DT could engage him.

Not impressed with any backup QB whatsoever

Jesus how bad is town if he can't beat these guys out

Center is a the only position I'm worried about

Wise Hollister and sprinkle took weight room seriously. Wise go get started, and high

what is sad is peavey is our #2 and he didn't look good. bret said ty was closing the gap, had a huge football IQ. he just needed the reps and he would improve greatly. instead he gives him 2 passes.

Town had a hoganese quiz with the coaches recently and only made a 4/25. Physically I think he is our best backup option but it is what it is right now. Storey wasn't given a chance to do much...I see what everyone means about his funky throwing motion though Peavey didn't impress me at all. Every throw he made was either a last second lateral after a scramble or a 5 mph floater

KNARFWONGAR had one of the most impressive plays in the Spring game on the 1st Denzel Evans TD.

If you get a chance, watch how quickly he gets to the 2nd level and then destroys K. Jackson. Ragnow takes the initial hit from Jackson and is almost knocked off balance, but he is so damn athletic. He brushes it off and proceeds to drive Jackson through the sideline.

Its the 4:30 game time of 2nd quarter if you have it on dvr.

Didn't look like Allen had a lot of time.

Intra-squad games are so difficult for the casual fan to draw conclusions from.

It would make sense with all the new guys on the O-line that the defense would get the best of it.

Hopefully those guys can gel this summer.

Hatcher being Hatcher with the ball rolling all over the turf. Don't think that will be acceptable this year as we got spoiled with the tough group of winners we had at WR last year.

Mitchell and Evans are probably not going to replace Collins so we best hope that Walker comes back 100% and that Whaley can bulk up this summer and come in to help us.

Missed the few plays with Day, how did he look?
