You know storey did throw behind some guys. Had a little inaccuracy, but most of his passes were off his back foot climbing the pocket, which the qb with this line will have to do. Our qbs are going to have to roll out.

I just can't see how cole wins this job back. He looks awkward rolling out, and his footwork makes him float balls for all the arm strength he has over ty. I honestly think ty has enough arm to win us some games. Dude has some moxie about him as well. He doesnt run scared either. Throwing stiff arms, and spinning for extra yards. I think this staff just needs to let this guy have the first team reps, and get better. Get better timing, more reps to fix his footwork, and i think this dude will score us enough points to win a game we probably shouldn't.

Not to mention he is a junior, probably has hog blood in him through and through. He can be the guy for the next 2 years while we get kj/noland/JSJ ready.

Cole Kelley is going to have to step his game up quite a bit if he wants to win the starting job back. He just didn't seem to have that IT factor to run this offense as well as we need him to run it.

Storey doesn't seem to have the greatest arm strength but he "gets" the offense. He seems comfortable running it and running it at the pace that we want to go. CK looked unsure more then once when he was in there.

Yes he does. His dad Shane was a Razorback player in the 80's

Cole Kelly sounds like Ed Orgeron. The problem is nobody can understand what play he's calling.

Agreed and I also saw a different team and spark as a whole when Storey went out. Also I feel like he's done his time waiting for the Allen brothers and I'm rooting for him to stay starter.

A big dude like CK should have dominated EIU. Was happy adjustments were made when they were.

He's no Mallett but he threw a perfect spiral on the money from his own 35 to the 12 at the end of the 2nd quarter. He's got plenty arm to be an SEC quarterback.

Timestamped at throw.
