Recruit Cantrell Wallace charged with 2 felonies

“We are aware of the serious allegations involving Catrell Wallace. We are gathering information and in contact with the proper authorities regarding the situation. Once we have additional information, we will make a determination on his status with our program.”

Things are all weird these days. When I was younger it seemed like this was the entire reason kids went to parties. To get drunk and get laid. Guys and gals alike.
I wasn't no Casanova or anything because I was kinda awkward, but I myself could have probably gotten in trouble for this a time or three, if this is the new standard.
I mean, wouldn't the gal still have to wake up the next day and claim she was raped? If that's the case then no, I would have never been in trouble.

Going on new norms today I might would have been locked up.

If he knew her age, absolutely. Playing devil's advocate here... What if she looked 19 and said she was 18....
I am not trying to rationalize for the dude, but as said above. I have seen several guys lives ruined for being lied too over age, etc. One did several years in the pen and was molested while there, the girl recanted years later.

He tried to cover it up apparently. That sorta destroys the argument that he didn't know her age. If she had been an appropriate age he wouldn't have been trying to tell witnesses to keep their mouth shut.

Not always. A "buddy" of mine set me up with his GF's sister one time when i was 19. The girl made a comment about my driver's license picture and I asked to see hers. She refused and acted all weird about it. My buddy and his girl were snickering from the back and i got suspicious and demanded to see her license. Turns out she was 12 and finally admitted to it. If you had put a gun to my head i would have sworn she was in college. I immediately dropped everyone off and went home, my and my "buddy" didn't talk much after that. I learned later she was dating a guy who was 26 when she went on the "date" with me. Scary shite.

Apparently the investigation had been going on for a while. If he didn’t sign in the early signing period we probably would have dropped him and had a spot for someone else.
