Is Mark Richt a possibility?
Saw that he had that heart attack this morning. Glad he came out ok. Weird that he happened to come up thinking about off the wall coaching hires.
Anyway, any of you think we'd take a shot at Richt? I'm definitely of the mind that we need a veteran head coach to fix this program. Not sure if Richt would succeed here, but hey it can't get worse.

Not only that... but he plans on going to heaven, no hell...

It's gotten so bad that drewbie is pining for a man on his deathbed to be our next coach. #gohogs

I really think he gave up a bit prematurely at Miami. He came in and immediately beat their previous few coaches and went 9–4, which is tied for the best they've done in over a decade. Then 10–3, would have been 11–3, if not for a canceled game. Then he fails to live up to the hype one time and goes 7–6 and calls it quits at his alma mater. I really do think he was going to do something great there until he lost interest.
That just tells me that he's burnt out and done with coaching. I think the entire state of Arkansas would gladly take him, but if he's just going to be here for a year or two before quitting, then what's the point. Bobby Petrino probably should have just quit before his last year at Louisville. The guy has never done remotely that bad and surely he felt it all creeping up.

Yeahhh, I don't think the Arkansas job would be healthy for anyone. Look at how Bert changed the 5 years he was here.
