How fast are TE's Usually?

NFL? 4.6 if you're a pass catcher. 4.7-4.8 if you can run block well

I say Jefferson is at 4.6-4.7 in his time.

All that being said, if he comes back because non draftable, he needs to check tight end.

I think after this signing class, we'll have about 5-6 4 star tight ends on the roster. I can't imagine why.

Gotta have more blockers to run that Briles offense.

Hornsby offense won't require WRs. Will be mostly line up 5 wide all tight ends and a running qb

I think it’s more of a Sam thing, Kirby is doing the same. Lots of RB. Lots of TE. Few WR.

Why do we need to do that? Idk, because we can’t do an intermediate pass.

I’ve said for a long time I don’t know why teams don’t load up with more tight ends with how athletic they’ve become. 6-4/6-3/6-5/6-6 dudes weighing between 225-260 pounds who can run 4.5-4.7 block and catch all over the field is a matchup nightmare. How do you defend it? If you go big we run by you if you go small we jump over you or just pound the rock with blocking advantages. I love it

Honestly that’s what Kirby seems to be doing, combine that with a few 5 star deep threats, topped off with a shitty QB.

well hell that’s the reason burton transferred. There’s not enough snaps for the 5 star receivers when you have 4 legit tight ends because your gonna want those big bastards on the field. A great pass catching tight end is a receiver who blocks. That’s better than any normal receiver
