I lived in NJ from 1987-1990. My daughter was born there. We lived in Phillipsburg, out on the Deleware River. Actually pretty nice country...but anything inside of 287 is nasty...either uber expensive or a total garbage heap....and its all sandwiched by NY and Philly.

Why our species does this to itself I'll never understand. No criminal should hafta live there.

Jersey Shore area is nice, most notably in the offseason when the BENNYs aren't there.

Walmart is nearly non-existent in Jersey. The few that are there, are out of the way, old and look like a typical Walmart in Arkansas from the 1990s.

They even have the old school lettering and logos and basically only have bread and a few frozen items as far as food goes, similar to what larger Dollar General would have now.

Because of this, the grocery stores all charge out the arse for their products.
