Yep, it wasn't a good performance from Texas. Hopefully that carries over to the Friday game. They turned the ball over a lot last night so hopefully that is something we can exploit.

Concerned with how long it takes these guys to adjust to division 1 speed on the court, but once these guys get it clickin I love their length at the guard positions. These guys will eventually feast on teams that don't take care of the ball.

Should be wins based off early games I've watched.

Agreed except for I think we split with Aggies. I only agree with Florida because we get them at home and early in the SEC schedule. Although they were playing a solid team on the road, they still looked really rough.

Well the disappointing part about that game is that I think Texas will end up being a bad loss. Based off of what I saw tonight, I don't see Texas making the tournament. Really need to beat Indiana at home next Sunday.

He's gonna have to get better at getting rid of the ball. He's going to be facing two defenders every time he touches the ball this year.

Very encouraged with the way this team looked with so many young players playing a worthy opponent with far more experience.

In fact, Texas had already played its first game, which makes last night all the more encouraging.

These guys get after it on defense. Texas shot 19% in the second half. Went over 10 minutes without a field goal at one point.

I'm not gonna go out on a limb and predict a win total or anything. The SEC is strong this year.

But I think this team is gonna be fierce by the end of this year.

ETA: I also think Mike Anderson hit the jackpot when he signed Isaiah Joe. I'm telling ya'll, that guy is a damn good ball player. He isn't just a good shooter. His all around game is extremely good. Under valued as a recruit, as weird as it sounds. He will play basketball for a LONG time.

Chaney with 4 fouls and 3 TOs in 11 mins. He is making me look bad with my previous comments in the thread. He can rebound though.

A couple of those calls on Cheney were cheap as hell. He will be alright. He never found any sort of groove last night. He will though, and he will be a beast.

I think we got a taste of the ole SWC officiating we used to see when I was a kid last night. It's like they really didn't want Cheney on the court. Lol
