Feel bad for that dude. Keeps battling back only to get injured again.

I can’t recall a player with more unlucky injury timing. I hate it for the guy. He spent so much time fighting back only to have his last season taken from him. He could probably get a medical redshirt, but if I were him I’d just finish my Masters and begin life after athletics. Athletics weren’t kind to him in the end.

DG always had a positive attitude and represented the Hogs well. I hope he carries that attitude toward whichever direction he takes in life.

Damn bad luck.

Well at least we have Blayne Toll for a back up

Oh wait, he plays for Colorado now.

and your point is? The kid wasn’t good enough to start then he transferred. Was the coach supposed to be able to see into the future and know that Gerald was going to break his leg, and therefore start till, the lesser player, ahead of him? Also we still have depth at dline, so even if Blayne was still here he still probably wouldn’t be in the 2 deep

My point is he was moved around 3 or 4
times and never given a fair chance.

The coaching staff knew DG struggled with injuries.

Sad that a three star Arkansas kid who wanted to stay home couldn't.

Should we start kids from Arkansas just because they’re from here? Even without Gerald he still probably doesn’t crack the 2 deep and he definitely isn’t starting so this injury doesn’t really mean anything. Maybe Blayne should’ve been a better football player?

This is Hogville level fricking bullshite, probably seeded and fertilized and gently pushed as a Gus suppository up Hogville sheep asses by George's Chicken minions near Johnson Road in Springdale

And Bo and Ruscin and Zach will be following suit buy (mid?) late in the season to slather on the propaganda

dipshit Wally will join them when he gets permission

During his time in Fayetteville, Toll struggled to find a position, as he bounced between tight end and the defensive line in his only season with Sam Pittman’s program.

Leading up to scheduled spring practices, things were a bit thin in the tight end department for Arkansas football. With a need for added depth at the position, head coach Sam Pittman moved freshman defensive end Blayne Toll over to the offensive side of the ball.

And from Hawgsports

Odom has mentioned the defensive line as a group that has impressed him so far with their gains in the size and strength department over the summer. Toll is one of several players at the position that has caught his eye due to his athletic makeup and hard work with the strength staff.

"He has got a lot of skills, just natural skills and since he has been here since January he has done a great job with Jamil (Walker) and his staff in the weight room."
