AR Burger Co.

I had no idea they'd closed down.

Damn, I was thinking about that place just the other day.

Oh no I didn’t even know about that CotW. We used to always go there with my grandma for birthdays

Similar story here - we used to always go there for my grandfather's birthday.

I never thought their food was that good, but I hated to hear they closed. We enjoyed lots of family dinners there over the years.

I hate shows like that though...It is obviously a 1 season show...would like to see it continued out.

I thought that was one of the better shows I've seen. Loved it. Wish they could have kept the story going too, but still thought it was awesome.

Did you guys know that story about Jeff Daniels's character was based on a true story? The Mountain Meadow Massacre, or whatever they call it. Really happened. Those folks were from somewhere in Boone County. Maybe Harrison.

Oh, it was a damn good show no doubt. I just hate 1 season shows is all I am saying. Each show was pretty long though. Some over an hour or so.

Peaky Blinders comes out this month. I am looking forward to the new season of it.

So this Godless- from what I've seen y'all write, should I watch? I mean I don't want to be left hanging if that's the case?

Yeah, apparently the owner has health issues. They were ahead of the game in the fast-casual burger segment here in town. Now you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a burger restaurant around here. I would say the market is saturated, but they seem to keep busy and opening new ones. Seems we love our burgers almost as much as we love our cheese dip!

Yes, for sure. Our issue is that it didn’t keep going, not a bad ending or anything.

I definitely recommend it. It's a limited series show. So basically like a mini-series, but very long. 7 episodes I think with each one being at least an hour long. It won't leave you hanging, it is just so good that you'll wish they had made more episodes.

You'd probably also like it for the fact that it's a western series focused on women folk. A town full of women who are badasses. (All the men in the town died in an accident...Only spoiler I promise but it's not really a spoiler as they talk about it from the outset).

It's one of the best shows I've seen.

Still haven't seen this one though it's one of the next on my list to watch.

I understand it's essentially a British version of the show Boardwalk Empire? Right up my alley. I thought Boardwalk Empire was brilliant

A lot of this show was written by UA grad Tony Tost,

This guy the same dude that wrote True Detective? That guy is a UA grad as well.

Interesting story there is that he wanted the first season to take place here in Arkansas, but the producers nixed that idea and they wrote the story in Louisiana. I guess the third season which is in production now is going to be his Arkansas story he wanted to write from the beginning.

I have a hunch it will be a dramatization of the Ralph Baker story. Maybe just wishful thinking, but I'm excited for season 3 either way.
