MLA, chicago style, apa...

There is a reason why I saved all my papers on a flash drive.

I fricking hate this stuff...any professor that teaches a writing course should always use AP style because that is what 99 percent of professional journalists have to use. Novelists can use their own style, it simply doesn't matter.

MLA should only be used in technical writing courses because NO media journalist or reporter will ever use that style. The only real professionals who use it are in reaearch, accounting, military, etc., -- something far more scientific than creative.

High schools and colleges should really be teaching kids how to write consise, coherent sentences, and how to convey and idea to your audience in a clear fashion -- something that is severely lacking for young people today.
