Little surprised he landed at another high major. Hustle and defense is what that system is built on though

Yeah he will fit in well there. Defense and little offense

This is our lost trade with WVU for Keaton Miles. Both are very similar players

Not me. Not even a little bit. He was a difference maker on defense. I wish he could have kept his shite together and stayed here.

Lol is right. Dude is one of the better defenders we have had in a Hogs jersey in a long time. Posters in here act like they know better about players than coaches at two major universities.

ETA: He started the final 8 games for us last season and in those 8 games he had 42 pass deflections. 16 assists. 5 drawn charges. 36 rebounds. Those are good numbers.

Over the course of the season he drew 24 charges and had 105 pass deflections.

Mike Anderson is gone. Pass deflections aren't a real thing

On the flip side, he went 11/37 from the field. He has to improve his shooting if he wants to be a decent starter at any P5 school. He did improve his A/T ratio by quite a bit from where it was earlier in the year. There were a few games last year in which he averaged a TO every 2-3 mins but most of that was in the first half of the year.

Could be a very good energy guy coming off the bench as long as he isn't the 1st or 2nd option on the floor in terms of scoring.

Yeah, you need scorers around him, but if you got a few of them he is a very valuable player, IMO.
