Bert always got the least possible out of the talent he had to work with. And there was a decent amount of talent on those teams

Bert’s 2015 team was very, very talented, especially on offense, and he squandered a ten win season by losing to the likes of Toledo and Texas Tech.

The 2015 year was his peak but that season was a turd. Lost to Toledo, lost to a beatable Texas Tech, took victory from Brandon Allen to a kicker who all knew was going to get blocked, didn't come ready to play against Georgia in the first half then came storming back and made a game out of it in the end. Held Alabama scoreless for almost four quarters and Bama ended up winning by double digits.

7-5. That was a double digit season.

You’re getting that season mixed up with 2014, which was a very talented defensive team. In 2014, we didn’t show up against Georgia, and it was a typical bedshit in the rock. We almost lost to Samford there in his first year, the aforementioned Georgia game, and a Toledo loss there with his best team. That was also the year that Kody Walker’s phantom fumble in the rain cost us a Bama win.

Oh yeah I forgot. That 2014 team was arguably a 10 win year.

Honestly have we ever had a better defensive team than 2014, in the modern era?

Flowers
Philon
Wise
Spaight

That was some talent in the front 7. Secondary wasn't anything to write home about but was decent and experienced.

Only team that might come close defensively would be 2006 and that's mostly because Jamaal Anderson was an animal.

Wise seemed to save his best for the NFL.

If we had the coaching staff then that we have now we go back to back 10 wins In 14-15 which is pretty much how we’ve always done in the sec. 2/3 mediocre seasons followed by 1 or 2 good ones and the cycle starts over which is why I don’t understand why people acted like we’d always been a bottom feeder lucky to make. A bowl game team after the morris debacle it’s like nobody could remember we’ve always been a team that’s gonna have ups and downs but should expect a 9 or 10 wins season every 3 years or so

Morris - A combination of a power vacuum, prideful good ole boys, more prideful POS Malzahn backers poisoning the water, and a lying arse media willing to blame it on an interim AD lady = Worst hire in the history of college football.

I have seen some bad Arkansas teams in my day but never have I felt so dejected watching a football team as I did during the Chad Error.
